Oh right lol!! Don't know where I got the i from?!!

Last date b4 my period started (is that what you mean.... I got this all wrong at the gp last time Blush ) was feb 7th. BUT this caused me no end on anxiety in my last pg as my cycle is way longer that the average 28 days, so it put me at least a week ahead of what I'd actually expect to be.

Collie last menstrual period Grin to work out edd!

Cep aw bless him, yes I had to resort to a few strong words and a bit of ignoring in the end Sad. I'd go up a certain number of times, but warn her this is the last time, so tell me now if you want me to check anything.

That did work, eventually!

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 09:36

cep What's imp start date?

Meant to also say glad there's no blood today. Sorry, bit self indulged this morning! X

OP posts:
cep · 17/03/2011 09:32

he's 2.5, he has a lamp on which he never used to. we had this thing last week when he first said he was scared, i asked him what he was scared of, he pointed to the gap between the dresser and wall. about 2-3 inches cause by lip of dresser and skirting board. there was nothing but the shadow from the curtains cast by the light. i've taken loads of his teddies out, cause he kept pointing at different things, problem is he's got it into his head now he gets a reaction when he says he's scared, so i think part of it is him playing up to it now.

harassedinherpants · 17/03/2011 09:30

I'm not sure how many dpo I am, I didn't really pay attention tbh........ wish I had now! I was trying to do the relaxed thing, until last night really lol. My problem is a lot of my pmt symptoms are also preg symptoms, so no indication at all.

Af showed up exactly 28days after erpc, so hoping that would give me some indication!

cep · 17/03/2011 09:29

collie when was your lmp start date?

harassedinherpants · 17/03/2011 09:28

Cep, glad to see bleeding is clear this morning.

How old is your ds? My dd is 4.5 and has to sleep with her lamp on low otherwise she freaks out. I have in the past got into bed with her, and asked her to show me what she's scared of and then we've talked it through. It meant a sleepless night (so best on a weekend!!) but it helped a bit, did take a while though. I also removed a lot of her teddies! It's taken time, but she's now a brilliant sleeper.

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 09:27

Grin harassed, I hope so!!! Fx for you! How many dpo are you? I still had a -ive at 14dpo in my first pg.

OP posts:
Collie2 · 17/03/2011 09:24

Aww thanks cep i doesn't really feel real though. The number of times I've told people on her, a line is a line, but i still can't believe it. Think I need to see a stronger line tomorrow to be convinced! Smile so please don't move me yet, I'm not quiet ready Smile

Sorry about your ds. It sounds like others have experienced similar things which is reassuring but I can imagine how helpless you feel, not wanting go get him in a bad routine.

banana < for you I'm afraid! Wait a couple more days I'm 13 dpo and its a v faint line Smile Theres nothing worse than seeing a bfn x

mels I hope you manage to enjoy your weekend.

ninu where are you going?

Ok, got to try and get some work done.... Not that I can concentrate!!! Grin

Yaaay Collie!!! My faint line is 4.5yrs old now Grin.

Cross your fingers for me please, cd31, bfn on Sunday, testing tomorrow unless something happens in the mean time.........

cep · 17/03/2011 08:59

mel just try to relax and enjoy the evening out. we used to have friends like that, saw all the time until i got pregnant 1 haven't seen them since. It's a shame were dh's friends, he sees the bloke around work but not very often now.

We were strict when he was still in the cot, only went in once to settle him down, when we first tookt he side off he was fine, but hte last few months has got himself into the habit of coming in every now and then.

yrmotb he used to go down in pitch black, then started asking for his main light on (is on a dimmer switch) but this last week has become very scared of going to bed or staying in his room for too long on his own. I assume he had a bad dream or something, he just won't stay in bed unless i'm in there with him. He seems to be scared of the shadows his light is casting curtains etc, but he won't sleep without the light on, it's a no win situationa t the moment. I've been looking for a clock like that saw one once then couldn't find it again. that's great thank you.

banana thankfully he isn't sick, he just seems to panic at the moment. But when he comes into bed like this morning he starts being sill, like he kept pushing on my face. PUT THE TESTS DOWN!

collie am still grinning for you here. so so pleased for you.

meliesmummy · 17/03/2011 08:53

banana that sounds like a nice dream. In my dream nightmare last night I had another mc, which was horrible because the night before my actual mc I dreamt I would have one, I really really hope I don't havd some sort of ability to predict awful things.

banana87 · 17/03/2011 08:49

cep Don't feel guilty, when DD cries at night she just comes in with us. She is nearly 2.5 and seems to go through phases of waking in the night and coming in with us, then suddenly stops. We have tried ignoring (used to work), but she will be sick now if we don't get her, which I'd rather not deal with!

collie YAY!!!! A line is a line :)

9 DPO and another BFN (WHY do I keep testing knowing its too early????). I had a dream last night I had a baby and a positive pregnancy test and now I just want both!!!

Youremindmeofthebabe · 17/03/2011 08:30

He used to sleep in the pitch black before that.

Youremindmeofthebabe · 17/03/2011 08:29

collie woo hoo! Congratulations.

cep I had to start leaving the landing light on when DS was going to sleep around that age, and a nightlight in his room for if he woke up. We got a clock like this which acts like a night light and also helps tell him when to get up. (ds is an early riserConfused)
Then just a settle and leave with nightlight on.

meliesmummy · 17/03/2011 07:54

Cep to be honest and I'll probably sound like a horrible mother but we go in once to dd if she wakes before her lamp comes on at 7, tuck her in and then if she does it again we ignore her. She's normally really good at settling herself because we've always been quite strict about bedtime.

meliesmummy · 17/03/2011 07:50

Yay collie!!!! a line is a line and you've now had 3!!!! Promise you'll still hang around here though to hold our hands! I am very excited for you xxx

meliesmummy · 17/03/2011 07:47

Good morning

Have you tested yet collie?

A weekend away sounds lovely ninu, enjoy!

We're going to a wedding this weekend, I'm not really in the right frame of mind for it if I'm honest. It's dh's best man getting married, they lived together at uni. In fact he introduced us, he's friends with my ex (I'm not a hussy, we weren't together when I met dh!) who is now seeing my oldest friend (my life is like eastenders sometimes!) so that'll be weird because I haven't seen them together yet. To be honest they haven't really bothered with us since I had dd. Plus although the best man knows about the mc because dh missed the stag night I don't know who else does (my oldest friends mum is friends with mine and I'm not sure if she's mentioned it) so it might be awkward. We cant afford a hotel either (its in a very expensive area) so we'll be driving back to my parents house to sleep (about an hour away).

Phew, that was long, sorry!

cep · 17/03/2011 07:45

oooh xpost collie getting all excited here, Grin as they say a line is a line. Grin congratulations

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 07:44

Wrong when I said Saturday I mean .... doh

OP posts:
cep · 17/03/2011 07:43

ooh where are you going for your weekend ninu anywhere nice? Sorry about work, this person sounds like a right pain in the arse, how could they not know they'd need a presentation until last minute? Glad you're doing well. Enjoy you're weekend away.

On my news front, i've had no blood with my fmu this morning. nor the one after. not sure if it's just a break, somehow i don't think 2 a-b tablets will have solved the problem already.

Had a really disturbed night with ds he woke at 2 put him back to bed he woke up again at 3:45 said he was scared and i caved and let him into bed with us Blush i don't know what to do with him at that time of morning. am i going to have to sit with him again??? i don't want him to get used to that as well as at bed time. I used to be so proud that he'd go to bed with 1 story and then light off with door closed. Now i'm clueless as to what to do. I'm going to try and speak to the hv today, partycrash the baby weight thing.

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 07:43

Ok, poa-cheapy-s this morn and got a v v faint shadow of a line. So stuck a first resp in my pee pot Smile and got a faint line!!!!! Keep having to check it's still there!!!! Totally bricking it, it's only a faint line. AF due Sunday (was wrong when I said Sunday) Confused Confused [freak out emoticon]

Ninunina · 16/03/2011 22:16

Olis I'm glad you finally know WTF is going on and that your WTF cycle is officially over. I hope next month is your lucky month (if you decide you want to try).

Shorty Fx AF is round the corner for you too.

Collie keep us updated first thing tomorrow!!!! I need someone to join me on the BFP list, I don't like being at the bottom xxx

Well, a bit about me. Things seem ok so far. I'm having a few wobbles when I don't feel sick for a while, or my boobs stop aching...but I'm quickly reminded when symptoms return.

I've decided not to go to the walk-in EPU this week for my dating scan. I'm escaping for a weekend-break tomorrow night till Monday nite and won't have a chance to go tomorrow morning. I'll try and go on Tues or Wed morning (I figure they'll be able to see more if I'm 5+ weeks).

I'm not doing too well at trying to take it easy at work. Got home after 8pm again today...was about to leave work at 6:30pm when one of the sales people pounced on me and said they needed a presentation straight away! Angry I felt like telling them to f*ck off...but knew I'd pay for it later if I did (this person is very senior, and would make my life hell if I didn't help.
