chloe glad it went well yesterday although it really does sound like a knackering day. You will get there again hon. i have all my fx for you. If you feel like you need to move on then don't worry about us, Smile we honestly don't mind, will miss you though.

meliesmummy · 18/03/2011 09:22

Okay ladies, weird question - I'm new to the whole cervix examining thing, what does it mean if it's so high I can't 'reach' it? Does it mean I've already ovulated? (yesterday I could reach easily). I know it's a pg sign but as I'm only day 14 that's impossible.

Cep I'm loving the nostalgia, last week I actually bought beef monster munch because they were on offer! Blush Grin

cep · 18/03/2011 09:17

mel it wasn't loads but it was a more red colour than i had been having, not watery, not a clot or anything like that and still not period red.

collie i found first response useless have you done the cb digi with date one? tomorrow fmu should be strong enough for it. The scans at 9:10 i'm trying to stay calm but i am really nervous. if i wasn't pg i'd be downing the Wine Grin i keep thinking it's over, but then worrying that i'll convince my body and then lose it anyway.

banana what aboutyou hon are you managing to wait till tomorrow or have you tested today?

remember i was talking about my tapes yesterday, i found dip dabs in tesco's had to buy one, i used to love them as a child. It's like i'm going back to my childhood.

Chloe55 · 18/03/2011 09:10

Bloody hell I missed loads yesterday!!

Congrats collie and banana. Grin

LILI I know exactly what you mean about struggling with the BFPs. Although I am very happy for those ladies who keep getting them it does remind me that I still don't and I am one of the longest posters on this thread now since the others moved on. I am beginning to understand why they did Sad All you ladies are lovely and very helpful but it is a struggle to be on cycle 7.

Cep Have you had anymore bleeding today? I know you hear it all the time but I bled daily with ds and my cousin bled a lot with her beautiful dd.

Yesterday went well but I was out of the house from 7.20am-8pm which is a long day I am not used to! And, most of that was on my feet too so I was absolutely knackered. Have to go and clean mum's too shortly and just can not be arsed! Was a good day, made me realise I missed parts but also made me realise there was some parts I didn't miss at all. Think I will stick to locuming now and just pick and choose when I work.

Also, took my last Clomid pill yesterday (forever I hope!) and started getting loads of ovulation stabbing pains last night so think I prob overdid it a bit yesterday.

Collie2 · 18/03/2011 08:51

Good luck lili I hope you manage to be more relaxed about it and get your bfp! X you too oils

hadrian · 17/03/2011 23:18

Wow what a day! Just a quick note to say a massive congratulations to collie and banana! Do you know I had a feeling it was your month collie...I love being right! Grin

Lots of love and all the best to you lili.

I'm 10 DPO but not really feeling any symptoms and I had a bit of spotting this morning so think AF is on her way. Am determined not to POAS, can't face a BFN this month Sad

LILI80 · 17/03/2011 20:39

Hi Ladies

Just wanted to say congrats collie a line is a line so pleased for you. You too banana

Well my AF arrived today and I've been thinking.....

this is my goodbye ladies I just want to say thank you so much for getting me through those tough few months you really were all there for me but I realised today that my DD will be starting school next year and as much as I want to give her a brother or sister I can't keep getting obsessed over getting pregnant and then realise I've missed those precious times with my daughter.

Also, I'm not sure how I'll cope sitting here watching everyone get BFPs and I don't. I know it's early days but I'm getting so obsessed by it all that I'm thinking about getting pregnant constantly and I don't think it's fair on my DD.

I wish you all the very best of luck and I'll miss you all xxx

p.s I'll leave it with you to remove my name from the list.

brooke89 · 17/03/2011 20:36

omg! all these bfps today what have i missed?!

congratulations for you all fx for you and everyone else. xxx

cep · 17/03/2011 19:45

collie i've been getting pains for the whole 5-6 weeks it's only really just stopped at 6 weeks, athough today i was getting some aches and still am. Don't forget it is natural to get some aches cause your uterus starts preparing and stretching already. FX that's all it is. get an early night and a good night sleep.

oli good luck hon, do let us know what happens.

olismum23 · 17/03/2011 18:50

Hi ladies still no more blood here but just have to count this as cycle day 2 for the moment. i am leaving all you pregnant lovelies and moving across to the CBFM thread as i have just acquired one, feel free to take me off lists i will still lurk and let you know of any good news!

Good luck xx

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 18:36

Feeling a bit wobbly about this line already. Had mild lower groin pains for past week or so, but yesterday started with stomach ache/pain which has gradually got worse as day gone on. Got what feels line constant stitch on low right side of tummy Confused Sad

Totally beat too. Not slept well pass 4 nights, currently in bed trying to catch a nap.

OP posts:
cep · 17/03/2011 17:31

securegal not too bad no blood so far today (touch wood) a bit of an ache on my right hand of tum, but as some aches are normal i'm trying hard not to worry. I'm sat zip open massaging ache with hand, ds keeps patting my stomach "mummys tummy".

no idea about the baby aspirin, may be worth doing a thread on it. i do hate the fact you have to pay for each item on the prescription.

collie have you kept it for comparison? Grin

i know this is ridiculous but i'm actually pretty nervous about poas tomorrow. yesterday was pos so why wouldn't tomorrow. duh.

Collie2 · 17/03/2011 17:00

banana ohhhhh sounds promising! Mines only a faint line too, but hoping it will get stronger. Are you really going to hold out till sat? I'm even debating poas again tonight! Blush

Vegas please don't feel like you can't come on here on your dark days and share what you're going through. As cep said it's what we're here for, and the best of us have had our share of venting, moaning and stressing! X

SG don't know much about baby asprin but think your consultant was lovely. All too often in the nhs are you just reminded how frequent and common mc. It's like the emotional cost is forgotten, or just accepted.

cep dh thrilled but being v cautious. Kept catching him sneaking the odd glimpse at the line this morn though, no doubt checking! Smile

Omg there are more people pregnant on this thread than not!Grin

securegal · 17/03/2011 16:25

Woo hooo! Massive congratulations Collie and Banana - what a wonderful day!! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you both!

Cep how are things with you today?

I have had an interesting morning. I just went to see the consultant for my follow-up appointment, two weeks after my ERPC. He seemed generally very positive and said that they had sent 'tissue' away for testing and hadn't found any abnormalities. I ended up going to a private hospital for the op (I am luck enough to have health insurance through my job - pay sucks, but the benefits make it worthwhile!!). Unfortunately the NHS diagnosed my MMC on 2 March but couldn't schedule an ERPC until 18 March Shock. I just couldn't face a wait of over two weeks and so used my insurance and went in for the procedure the following day. Now, the interesting thing today was that the consultant has prescribed me Cyclogest (progesterone?) and 75mg asprin for use as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test. He said that the NHS will usually wait for 3 miscarriages before prescribing it, but that it won't do any harm, and it could spare me the pain of going through all this again. What do you all think? Does this seem like a good thing? I feel quite comforted by it (although it did cost me £80 for the prescription Shock). Have any of you got any experience of Cyclogest?

Huge congrats again to the BFP ladies today!! xxx

MummyAbroad · 17/03/2011 14:29

Collie got a BFP too?!! Grin
congratulations!! Grin

banana Cant help thinking this is it, because mine started out like that - only visible an hour after the test - will keep my fingers crossed for you that confirmation comes up nice and clear!!

cep · 17/03/2011 14:21

ooh have a fabulous time ninu

Ninunina · 17/03/2011 14:19

collie congratulations. Quickly saw your post this morning before dashing to work and jumped with joy.

banana bfp for you too. What an exciting day this has turned out to be. Have you done another one?

cep I'm off to Malta tonight. Can't wait. Going to tell my parents and best friends the news. They will be surprised since back home they encourage ppl to wait 3 months to try again after mc, so I might get a few lectures.

banana87 · 17/03/2011 14:17

It's only faint, don't get too excited MummyA...will take another Saturday and a digital Monday THEN it can be confirmed/denied. :)

MummyAbroad · 17/03/2011 14:10

Whats that you say about a line banana??!!Grin

cep · 17/03/2011 14:07

oli that can't be their emergency system surely. that's ridiculous. (and thankyou)

banana how long after was it? (keeping fx)

mel i don't mind. means you'll have to keep ontop of posts so it's there when this one finishes. big responsibility you know....Grin Wink

collie what did dh say?

hv said, weight fine, (phew fat does run in my family) height actually fine. not much said that i didn't really know about the fear, age group imagination running riot etc, not to get him used to getting in our bed or me sitting in his room, but otherwise do what i'm doing. i've just got to be a bit stricter i think, it's heartbreaking though when he's sobbing out of fear (supposedly.) i've bought him a training clock from amazon, not quite like the one yrmotb showed this one has a moon and sun should also hopefully have the option of showing the digital clock as well. i've moved some things in his room, and hope like hell he'll stay, i don't really mind sitting in there in the evening for 5 mins (when he actually stays in bed, has started acting up) but really don't want to do it if he wakes up.

meliesmummy · 17/03/2011 13:35

And can I nominate myself to start the next thread if no one minds? It worked for collie after all! Grin
