This is the place to be for all those wanting to TTC after miscarriage, or have plans on TTC in the relatively near future. This thread is full of support from people who have been there and no how you are feeling so jump on board and share the Wine and chocolate (or water and celery for those of you off alcohol and caffeine Wink)

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Ask any questions that have been niggling you or that you are concerned about, perhaps someone here has experienced the same in the past.

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length

Good luck to all - here's hoping for lots of healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread

This is the old thread ref:

Stats to follow.

Yes i was going to wait till Sunday and really should have BFN :( Will wait till Sunday if it kills me!!

Ninunina · 02/03/2011 21:52

Forgot to send ((hugs)) to Mouse Good luck with fanjocam tomorrow. Hope you get the all clear.

Blackkat do you have a regular cycle? I never bothered with FF, Temping & Opk's before. My cycles were quite regular after coming of the pill (every 28 days), however in Nov & Dec my cycle changed to 35 days. When I had my scan they noticed that I might have PCOS, which I know I didn't have 6 months before, so that would explain the longer cycle. I've only started temping etc since MC since I don't want to miss ovulation day in case my cycle screws up again.

Blackkat · 02/03/2011 21:41

Waves to ninu sorry we're always xposting! x

Blackkat · 02/03/2011 21:40

PMing does sound rude doesn't it!! Grin

Mouse been thinking of you today, hope fanjocam brings positive news tomorrow ((hugs)) xx

olis try and stay calm, I thought you were going to wait until Sunday?? Grin Grin Grin

I'm not on FF, perhaps I should be charting, perhaps that's where I've been going wrong? I also don't have any sticks of any variety in the house, ever. Waited until I was a week late before I tested and got BFP, this isn't normal right? Confused

Waves to everyone and chuckles again at Mumtum in her closet!

wildsheep, Laylas how are you?

Ninunina · 02/03/2011 21:38

Blackkat & Chloe I'm sorry you've both had such a rough time TTC before mc. I'm keeping my Fx that it will be quicker and more successful this time round. It is a lucky thread after all Wink

Vegas welcome- looks like you're already being well taken care of. These ladies are fantastic support. It helps to know there are so many people going through similar things.

Collie thanks for the asprin link. I went out and bought some baby asprin over the weekend, but I'm not too happy taking it, so I won't take it again after reading that article.

Oli its getting exciting. Let us know as soon as you take that test (but maybe wait for FMU)

Have you noticed how many similar lettered nicknames we have on this thread. Collie, Chloe, Cep, Lily, Lili....I'm glad I didn't put my actual nickname on this, since it would be another Lily- now that would be confusing Smile

meliesmummy · 02/03/2011 21:27

Thanks cep! My dh thinks I'm a complete nut for getting excited over that!

mouse good luck for tomorrow x

This thread has been fab, I've never joined anything like this before, I only joined fb in Jan, but so glad I did, thank you all x (it would have been nice to get to 'meet' you all in happier circumstances tho!

Collie2 · 02/03/2011 21:22

Ohhhh I'm gone for a couple of hours and it gets interesting!!!!!

cep I think this thread is a god send, and everyone on it is so lovely. I know what you mean about fb I've barely been on since my mc (apart from when I am torchering myself and stalking my pg neighbour) Grin i much prefer talking to you lovely ladies! Grin

olismum23 · 02/03/2011 21:20

I got a negative very quickly, i only bled for five days and got a negative the day my bleeding stopped but my Hcg was low only ever reached 786 and bless the wee soul she even managed to get a strong heartbeat with that little hormone. I had a scan 4 days before my m/c started and she was there beating away 5.5 weeks oh well hoping if i do get preg again it sticks :(

mousebacon · 02/03/2011 21:15

Hi ladies, just popping in to say the service went as well as could be expected and am ready to go for fanjo cam tomorrow.

cep · 02/03/2011 21:14

ok sent you one as well mel Grin

cep · 02/03/2011 21:08

Grin mumtum i think when you have a couple of cycles on there so you and it knows your normal cycle pattern then it's quicker, it's because it's your first cycle on there. mine started counting down (i put cm details in a few days ahead so it would show the dates, i hated not having the full cycles dates on there and it started couting down the extra 5 days.)

oli remind me, sorry if you've already answered this i can't remember, did you test and have a -ve?? post mc?

meliesmummy · 02/03/2011 21:07

Oooohhhh im jealous, never had a pm!

olis let us know, fx! I sent my dh out tests once when I got a v faint positive (chem pg), it was a Sunday evening and I'd specified cb digital or fr, tesco metro only had their own brand so bless him I think he checked every shop in Swansea! (unsuccessfully)

MumTumWanted · 02/03/2011 20:55

Grin at thought of oils DH dashing to the tesco metro to grab the last clearblue off the shelf .... wondering if mine would do the same... prob not as his friend is here (who doesnt know we are TTC!!)

olismum23 · 02/03/2011 20:52

Im not calm or chilled as much i am trying too know its prob way too early but i have given in and sent DH out for more PG tests.............GOD I AM GOING MAD!!!Grin

cep · 02/03/2011 20:50

if your new to ff it takes 18 dpo of high temps to tell you if your pg. a bit pointless by my pov as by then af should have started and you'd have guessed anyway. fx it stays up.

cep · 02/03/2011 20:48

cor you could get carried away doing that. Grin

MumTumWanted · 02/03/2011 20:48
