The resurrection of the 6th form common room for those inbetweeners who are TTC/PG after mc and are too long in the tooth to fit anywhere else

The resurrection of the 6th form common room, a place to put your feet up, wallow in self pity (me) or rejoice (and tremble in fright) at new growing beans and baybees after mc. No lists. No stats. No babydust. No feeling bad if you can't keep up.

Go.

Izzy Fantastic news Grin Grin grin] Congratulations Missus! Hope you have a v healthy and uneventful 8 months ahead of you! xx

YRMOTB We only managed two swis last month at the right time and one of them hit the spot so one is all you need!

CD4 here today after last weeks cp. Feel slightly consoled to know that the sperm did finally meet the egg and I imagine that they went on a little date down the fallopian tube only to discover that they were incompatible (I expect egg was too mature) so unfortunately it was nothing more than a one night stand. At least part of the process is happening/ working though and hey, in just over a week we can start all over again - hurray Smile!

Bee I would be interested to know about Dr Shehata too Smile I'm with ARGC at present and had 16 vials of blood sent off to Chicago for immune testing yesterday and depending on the results I will decide whether to stay with them or maybe look into somewhere that focuses specifically on rmc.

BBB I agree with the others that you need to look after yourself and focus on maintaining your own future pg rather than risking another mc for the trial.

Oh my god izz Hurrah!! Congratulations! That's excellent news for you. Well done. GrinGrin

I took my temp again today and it's v high, so have changed my detection setting on FF to Ovulation, so it now says i'm 3 DPO. Which means I only got 2 ok timed SWI in. Ah well. On the plus side it's a beautiful day, and hopefully will be a good weekend. Waves to all, off to enjoy the sunshine in a min.

brokenbarrenbrook · 18/03/2011 08:37

Wooo hoo! izzy lush news honey! Congrats. Fingers crossed for a sticky and a very uneventful 9 months xxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 18/03/2011 08:22

So...after all my bravado about not testing at 11dpo despite ff's recommendations, I did poas this morning, Internet cheapie of course and justified in that I'm going out tonight and need to know if I can have a guilt-free Wine. Bfn, obviously.

Then about 2 hours later I checked again and, no, still bfn...but if I stood right next to the window and squinted I could almost see a faint shadow of where a line might appear if it was anything else.

After about ten minutes of mentalling I finally gave in and broke out the cb digis, poas and left it to have a shower. When I got back....guess what? "pregnant 1-2"!!!

Obviously it's ridiculously early days and I daren't be happy about it just yet, af was due today but I know I'm not even 14dpo!! However just to get that glimmer of bfp hope after all this time is fantastic, I know I'm so lucky.

I've had to wait until I stopped shaking to post this...I know some of you will still be wondering when it's going to be your turn and I'm hoping and praying I see you all with a bfp asap. I know I'm only at the start of the journey but tbh I wouldn't have got this far without you all xxx

MummyAbroad · 17/03/2011 21:52

Just been list lurking, loving the tidy bold bitsGrin

Ladybee · 17/03/2011 19:43

I keep forgetting to POAS in the mornings!!!! I'm so bleary eyed at the moment I get up, stagger to the bathroom and am halfway through the pee when I remember what I was supposed to be doing.
Think I'm going to have set a glass on the toilet seat tonight to remind me. (And hope I get there first before DH Grin)

GP appt went fine today - he's ordered the vitamin tests no question, I had a bad b12 deficiency previously and lots of investigations to try to find out why - I'm not veggie no reason why I shouldn't be getting it from diet - ended up with no firm conclusions, so just have to keep an eye on it.

YRMOTB I'd probably assume from that temp that you'd ov-ed early. Is that good news?

BBB I've messaged you about Shehata - wasn't sure about putting that info on here. Can send it to anyone else who is interested of course.

Freezing push some of the stinky cheese in this direction will you? I think I may be coming out the other side, am finally starting to think 'mmmm, wine', my boobs look back to normal and I actually started thinking about sex the other day...DH will be pleased.

Izzy it's always told me to test around 12 dpo but I think that's cause I normally have an 11 day LP. I went off VIP membership while I was pg last time...but I quite like the re-design and don't know if I can be bothered signing up again we when we start again. The 'scorecard' for effort used to do my head.

Had a lovely day out with a friend today - company really is better for me than being by myself I think. But oh my god, the house is a state and I have two people coming round at various points tomorrow to look around it. One to estimate shipping costs the other to talk to me about letting it. Think it's going to be chinese delivery tonight while I attempt to restore some order. Ugh. Would much rather just be sitting enjoying a Wine.

MummyAbroad · 17/03/2011 18:31

babe it takes the average LP of your previous cycles and puts test date as day AF due. You can get it to ignore any really wierd cycles if you want by unchecking them in the "cycle list" bit.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/03/2011 17:55

babe I put in my + opk and set the ov detection to ovulation test. I didn't get the horizontal crosshairs as no temps but it did draw my vertical ov line and count the dpo for me

Youremindmeofthebabe · 17/03/2011 17:52

Mines after 14 now. How can I get crosshairs without temps? It is resolutely sticking to me oving on Sunday coming.
batteryGrin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/03/2011 17:04

I have just signed up to another 3 months membership though. That's depressing!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/03/2011 17:03

battery Blush Grin

Anyone using ff - when does it tell you to poas? I thought the idea of ff was after 18 high temps you're pg and should test, but it's recommending increasingly unrealistic testing dates for me - last month it was set at 12dpo, this time it's 11dpo (don't worry, I'm not going to - af will be here by then!). I just thought it was odd. Lots of bfPs wouldn't even show then! Anyone else care to share their recommended test dates?

batteryhen · 17/03/2011 16:49

babe completely misread that and thought you said ' will have one more luck tonight' - thought you were using rhyming slang Blush x

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 17/03/2011 16:39

yrmotb I second the early ov thing, but would also think an extra shag wouldn't hurt just in case? Grin. Good luck with catching that egg!!!

Ali lovely news, hope all continues to go well x

bb I can't remember if I've replied to this yet but if there's any chance it's going to help I would definitely just try and get the progesterone and not risk it in the trial. Obviously if your gp won't cooperate the trial might be worth a go, but you don't want to be left wondering, what if...

jolls and loola hope you're ok there in the Gloomy Place, all signs point to me joining you late tonight or tomorrow

ladybee how are you doing, lovely? I hope the tests are showing what they need to and you manage to get somewhere with sorting out the appt with Dr Shehata...big ((hugs)) for you x

I hope you're both ok, I've been thinking of you and am sending big (((hugs))) x

mouse your boss is unbelievably shit and makes my Arse Boss look like Mother Teresa. Please make sure you get sick notes, and do not be pressured into meetings, discussions with boss or anything. Try to just deal through HR when you need to. I am completely Shock and Angry at the way she is treating you and I hope you're coping ok x

Youremindmeofthebabe · 17/03/2011 16:20

Yey alibean! good one.

Thanks battery and ma, I'll go for one for luck tonight and have a shifty at my temps in the am- just to be certain, you understandGrin
