A safe haven for those just off the mc rollercoaster and thinking about getting back on or are already on the TTC rollercoaster. Be warned these lovely ladies chat, and the thread moves lightening fast, but all are welcome to join in any time Smile

For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

Anyone here watch Holby City??? I just literally bumped into Jac Naylor in Blockbusters.... Feeling very star struck!!!

nickstermum · 18/11/2010 20:23

bee nigella is very sexy, she takes indulgence to a new level! personally i prefer jamie! How can she look that good after eating all that rich food? I eat my share of crap and i am just wobbly!!

a good bra no doubt!

nickstermum · 18/11/2010 20:21

Well thankyou for chart reading! very interesting feedback. i also popped it onto charters anon over on conception.

Most people said day 19 (except the oracle mummy) but that FF had got confused due to me missing out 1 week when i lost therm it couldnt calc my baseline temp :)I think 19 but who the hell knows. am leaving the chart to use temp as primary factor and opk secondary as i want to see what temps do next month :) gosh,, how good to be able to pinpoint it for sure!

Izz yes i have scary blue veins. Left over from DS, who i BF till he was 2 - have to say not uncertain if thats why body/hormones were all over the place when i conceived 5 months later :0

mummy thats just totally awesome news :) well done doc, am so so pleased for you !!
does that mean you have to stay here for a while, or can you go back home for a bit? You must be so relieved xx xxxxxxxx
Cant wait to be ttc alongside you x

sorry not more chatty bit of a mood tonight, luteal phase arrives and i turn into witch from hell :( had a very long drive back home, topped off by kids birthday party when i got back, ds seems tobe fighting off something and cant sleep, i am cranky and DH wont speak to me! xx

Ladybee · 18/11/2010 20:13

This is completely by the by, but am currently watching Nigella's programme, and my god, the undergarments that lady wears must be extraordinarily good.
Anyone know what she uses? The gravity-defying support that's going on there is Very Impressive. Grin

aandr sorry you're having a rubbish day. :( however, I can say with more certainty for you than I can for myself that you are definitely not barren.....

Off to spend another £40 on some acupuncture that so far has done absolutely naff all for my cycles. Guy opposite me on the train keeps rubbing his knees agaist mine Angry - once more and I am going to tell him to f* off and stop fidgeting like a 3 year old.

Sorry for shite mood, just spent another day discovering that apparently everyone else in the country is pregnant or has just given birth....

Feel like I am missing out - DILDOCAM!!!! Wierd enough having my dentist's 'point out all the bits I have missed when cleaning my teeth' CAM.
Grin re rabbits on ff!

AandRMum · 18/11/2010 17:26

Grin Grin Grin sooooo pleased for you MummyE You have such a brilliant attitude through all of this and so deserve your shiny new bean home - happy lining growing.

I am sooo not in tune with my emotions. I thought I was fine about af arriving for all sorts of practical reasons but we had a bit of crap news with our planning - more delays, more money, more uncertainty - and I ended up blubbing on the phone to DH. 'I'm barren, unemployed, and we are going to be bankrupt' so all in all a very positive response to life. Have been training and feel a bit better and MummyE news has really cheered me' up

MummyinEngland · 18/11/2010 16:58

PS Did you know that having sex makes the female rabbit ovulate? No need for FF membership for them!

loola2shu · 18/11/2010 16:29

Thats brilliant Mummy pleased to see you've had some good news eventually!

Thanks to everyone for advice, I've had MILLIONS of Dildocams in my time (with IVF and IUI just not when bleeding/discharge) so not worried about the scan itself, just concerned about whats going on in there! Will hopefully know more Tomoz!

MummyinEngland · 18/11/2010 15:59

I have spoken to the doctor and he said that he got ALL the scar tissue out! I am cured!!!!
Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
He said I WILL have a period in 2 weeks time! Grin I am on hormone therapy for 6 weeks to help grow the lining, and I also have a coil in at the moment to keep the walls of the uterus apart while the lining grows back. When I have finished the hormones the coil will come out and I can start TTC immediately!!!

Its really hard to believe that its finally good news after so much rotton luck! I had been preparing myself for him to tell me that I would need a second op or that it was incurable but it turns out to be the best result ever!

Thanks again for all your wonderful support ladies, I look forward to getting back on the list in a few weeks time!! In the meantime I will get back to studying all your charts Wink xxxxxxxxxxxx

MummyinEngland · 18/11/2010 14:03

I want a counsellor to tell me to go buy 7 bras and a new pair of boots! Nice one wombatGrin

PinkFondantFancy · 18/11/2010 13:37

Also loola should have said, internal scan doesn't hurt at all and also worth knowing in advance-they don't put it all inside!!! When you see it you'll know why I'm warning you so don't panic!! Xx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 18/11/2010 13:30

Sorry mamap I underestimated you there - spaghetti junction: that's even more impressive! Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 18/11/2010 13:20

Btw does everyone have boob veins? I'm starting to feel inadequate...

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 18/11/2010 13:02

Excellent news re the op mummye !!! Let us know how the phone consult goes later, but it sounds like it's good news Smile

I will have to catch up more later, have decided to start volunteering as parent helper at dcs' school so spent all morning helping year 2 make paper robins for their Christmas display. Very lovely but a tad tiring...

MummyinEngland · 18/11/2010 12:23

Hi all,

I am reading the thread from both ends! Didnt get time to finish catching up yesterday.

Nix I am going to be controversial and say day 21 like FF says. Based on being a couple of days after the pos OPk and getting temp rise 1/2 degree above normal temps.

loola sorry I am not your period expert - but I can tell you that dildo cam scans are not scary or even embarrassing, read this I have had a fair few of them recently! I dont think it will be cancelled because of spotting and it will give you some reassurance to know whats going on in there. Let us know how you get on xx

I got an email report of the op yesterday, its says "excellent outcome" Smile I have a telephone consult with the doc at 2pm today so will know more later. Feeling very encouraged. Smile Smile

Wombat33 · 18/11/2010 12:22

PS theatre was fab! Why have I left it so many years since I last went?! Can totally recommend "When we are married" at the Garrick for any Londoners out there. Maureen Lipman and the whole cast were exellent! Such a good giggle Grin

Wombat33 · 18/11/2010 12:20

Loola I don't think the discharge will be a problem for the scan either - if it is internal they put a plastic cover on it anyway. I imagine that bleeding of unknown cause must be one of the main reasons they do scans so they will be totally used to it I'm sure!

Pink TMI alert (!!) but to try to put your mind at rest - I get all sorts - jelly-like clots and lumps of what I assume are uterine lining tissue Blush I think they are all variations of normal but I'm sure your GP wouldn't mind putting your mind at rest or running some tests to check if you're worried.

Still not positive on the OPK here but I looked at my chart for July when I got pg and saw that I didn't get a positive until CD16 that month so I'm now feeling more upbeat about this month. This will be my month :) (am probably setting myself up for a fall here, but I'm going to go with the positivity for now and cross that bridge when if it comes!!). Grin Also started to get a bit of EWCM this morning so hope DH is feeling in the mood tonight! Wink

Lots of love and positive vibes for you all xxx

PinkFondantFancy · 18/11/2010 12:08

Hey loola I dont think the scan will be a prob-I had one before pg because I had some pain and they didn't use dildo although I did have to drink about 190 litres of water... Tmi but I had dildo cam during mc which I can imagine left a gory mess behind on the couch but didn't affect the scan so can't imagine they'll care less about a bit of discharge. Hope that helps!

A meme post from me-definitely tmi but have got proper AF now and had assumed what I'd seen in bowl were blood clots. However, when I wipe they are actually big lumps of old chewing gum type stuff. This is worrying me, WTF is it?? Does anyone else get this? I have no clue whether anything at all about my cycle these days is normal....

Grin at mama's spaghetti junction-I can't beat that!! aandr I have stomach veins too!!
