oh wallydog my heart goes out to you. its so frustrating when its all so unpredictable. Try not to plan at all. i fell pg as soon as i'd got fed up enough to not think about it for a few weeks. Thing is you might be oving at any point.

Sending you some extra sparkly baby dust xxx

wallydog · 10/01/2011 22:51

So I thought! But stupid body decided after years of long cycles that AF would sneak up on me in a 24 day cycle (never been heard of before in my history!)
So Lord knows when to plan next BD!!!!Hmm

so are there any more tests they can do to check you are oving? has your DP been tested?

Don't lose heart, I know how frustrating all the waiting is, and I know how stressful and what a waste it feels to watch another long cycle crawl past knowing you haven't actually BD'd. Maybe try and take your mind off it for a couple of months. Plan a trip away with DP or a close friend maybe. I definitely think that it's more than a coincidence that I fell pg the very month i'd given myself a break from stressing about it.

It'll be worth the wait when it does happen, Good luck and keep me posted! Sending a ton of baby dust your way! Xmas Grin xxxxxxxxxxxx

PS my top tip is to book an expensive trip for about 9 months time and don't get cancellation insurance. Worked for me!

DomesticGoddess31 · 09/12/2010 21:21

Blimey sorry, haven't checked back on here for weeks! So the day after I posted CD67 I did another test....just for the hell of it..... And it was only blinkin positive! 2-3 weeks too. I was floored, couldn't believe it. 4 weeks on and all seems well :o

CD67........

DomesticGoddess31 · 11/11/2010 07:06

Yes it's extremely annoying! I'm still waiting! I don't have any other symptoms of PCOS but I gather that doesn't mean you haven't got it. I just want AF to make an appearance so I can get tested and find out what the hell is going on. It's horrible not understanding your own body isn't it?

My cycles been a bit more erratic than yours, didn't have AF for 130 days after coming off the pill in august last year (so we've been trying for similar amount of time ) then it was between 49-33 days. I've noticed I seem to get 1 long cycle followed by 2 shorter ones. It's like I've totally skipped one this time though. I wonder if I'm only oving on the shorter cycles...

At least we're not alone Wink Hang on in there, it'll happen for us.

wallydog · 09/11/2010 18:52

It's annoying isn't it? My cycle b4 that was 38 days but I'm usually between 33-35 days since coming off the pill 15 months ago!
I was upset that not pregnant, but so relievd that ovaries were still working when af arrived!
Good luck with the scan! Will keep you posted - do you think you may have PCOS then? Join the thread PCOS whilst TCC.

I feel your pain wallydog Since coming off the pill over a yr ago I've had pretty irregular periods but this is the longest cycle ever... Day 62 and no sign of AF. Am waiting for it to start so I can book my day 2 blood tests. So frustrating! My GP is sending me for a scan too.

Let me know how yours goes, good luck!

wallydog · 04/11/2010 21:20

After CD66 - AF finally arrived today! Boo! Got scan on 1st Dec.

CD51 - waiting to see my GP on wednesday for her to refer me for a scan! Why the hospital couldn't have done it - what a faff!
Pain better today - just like low grumbling period pain and am on codeine! Not very strong though!Hmm

wallydog · 17/10/2010 23:28

Latest update - went to hospital today as have a constant pain in left ovary area. Doctor has referred me for an ultrasound scan to see if it's ovarian cysts.
That would explain pain and irregular period!
Will keep you posted!Sad

Thanks emmylou - no medication taken apart from paracetamol!

Do you think you missed a cycle on your 62 day? I'm starting to think that now, as all day today I've been getting a dull ache in my left ovary (ovulation?)because I would now be on CD10 or CD12 if had my usual 35 day cycle.
The only thing I do is chart when my Cd starts and ends - what else should I be charting? Any advice is helpful :) I'm useless at knowing when I'm ovulating! Only started ttc since Aug 2010 so never noticed before! Blush
