What do you think of this name and do you pronounce the Ros like rose or roz? Tia

Roz.
Prefer Rosemary.

I know a Rosalind and a Rosemary, both early 60s. Both lovely women, intelligent, articulate, kind, and all-around well liked. The names conjure up an image for me.

Lovely lovely name.

It's a classic, beautiful and elegant name with a lovely meaning and associations.

Im always surprised by how many people like this name on Mumsnet. To me it’s a bit clunky and ugly - the ‘roz’ sound isn’t nice IMO and the ‘lind’ isn’t great either! It has a frumpy, dated feed to me. Not hideous, but like a ‘Maureen’ or a ‘Deirdre’ kind of name.

The lovely Rosalind, I had the pleasure to know, always called herself Ros. Lovely name, and holds wonderful memories for me.

Said with a Roz. I know a lovely women with this name. It was also on my baby list!

It’s nothing like a Maureen or Deirdre!
