Cleo or Margot

What do you prefer?

I love both, husband thinks Margot will get the nickname Maggot and my hairdresser thought it was pronounced with a hard T at the end which has put me off a bit. Are we overthinking?

Cleo! I used to love Margot but my phone autocorrected it to maggot and I couldn't unsee!

Much prefer Cleo, Margot is such a frumpy name although it’s currently very popular for babies, but this may well cause it to seem dated in a few years

Cleo for sure. There are loads of Margot's around at the moment. Love both names though

Cleo would be my choice too though I love Margot as well! Maggot would never have occurred to me in a million years! What about the spelling Margaux? I know a few who are spelt that way and then you can’t get the pronunciation wrong.

Oh, Cleo is gorgeous and Margot is awful! It's frumpy and yes, looks like maggot and there are quite a lot of them currently. Cleo is completely underrated and such an elegant name for a child and adult. 💜
