I know a Starla and she is very sweet and o like the name.
If you like it, go for it, people get used to a name on a child.

I like Stella & don’t mind Darla but I don’t like Starla. It just reminds me of starlet. Not my favourite!

I grew up with a girl called Starla.
I think it's a beautiful name. She has sisters called Dawn and Twila.

It's okay but it doesn't exactly give me good associations. It sounds a bit like the name of an exotic dancer. Sorry!

I was worried about Stella giving some people similar images but I still like it very much (I was worried about the beer association).

Stella instead or Estelle.

I think Stella is nicer, but it's OK. It has reminded me that I was at school with someone called Dawn Stahl which has always stuck in my mind as I thought it was magical at the time. (nearly sixty years ago)

I like it. It's pretty and has a hippyish vibe to me. MN seems to hate this name though. In real life, people won't be as rude about it as they are on here so if you like it use it!
