Violet screamed and scream until she was sick to get what she wanted from daddy.
Ada was smart and fearless in her own abilities in a world against her.

Violet is a nice name. But i still struggle with Roald Dahl and the name.

I suppose so a bit. I've got a friend called Wioletta (Viola) - she goes by Viola.

I know 2 x adas so now feel like it's a young name. Saying that i dont like short names, so violet

A friend's DD (now 3 or 4) is called Ada. She suits it and I prefer it to Ava which is far more common.

I personally don't think Ada is very old fashioned.

I like Ada better of the two. Violet sounds lovlier to my ear as the French version Violette.
