I like it a lot. Unfortunately DH isnt keen here. I had a penpal who went by 'Mem' which is nice I think.

I have a Meredith. Everyone calls her Edie, as in edie Sedgwick.

Like Meredith but personally I hate Merry which is the most obvious nn. I'm probably in the minority though, as Merry always seems to be well received on MN baby name threads!

I saw on tv last week that in relish it is pronounced Mare-RED-ith with the emphasis on the second syllable. Which I think is gorgeous.

To be honest though I like it the Anglified way too
