Edmund.

I really like it as it reminds me of one of my favourite characters but dp and his family immediately think of someone else, who I can't stand. I'm hoping it's just them who will associate it in that way though.

Blackadder here as well I'm afraid!

Oxtailchambermaid · 14/04/2016 12:17

Another vote for Hilary.

HeadTilt · 14/04/2016 12:36

Blackadder, then Narnia.

I'm not a fan, it is the Egbert and Ethelred group for me.

Cami12 · 14/04/2016 13:30

Narnia. Not blackadder unless prompted. But it's a strong enough name to not be associated with a character at all, I wouldn't worry.

Kingfisherfree · 14/04/2016 13:33

Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

BendydickCuminsnatch · 14/04/2016 13:35

Edmund Bertram.

I don't like Edmund Bertram much.

EleanorofCastile · 14/04/2016 16:42

I don't think of anyone, just that it's a nice name.
I do vaguely recollect Narnia now it has been mentioned, that may be pat of the reason I like it. I am familiar with Blackadder but didn't make the Edmund connection.

It's my first choice at the moment if DC1 is a DS, and the Blackadder connection might have been why DP looked less than impressed when I mentioned it! But I think it's not too strong an association that the name won't become the baby's own and lose the Blackadder link for the family. It's a lovely name.

alltouchedout · 14/04/2016 16:44

Edward I's younger brother. Goodness knows why!

ophiotaurus · 14/04/2016 16:45

Narnia

NameChange30 · 14/04/2016 16:56

squoosh Glad I'm not the only one who thought of him - I was beginning to wonder!
Why don't you like him - is it the whole Mary Crawford business?

pinocchiosnose · 14/04/2016 17:23

Narnia
