Could I have your thoughts please. I am not sure if I like it or if it is too made up sounding.

It's ok- it will have same pronoinciation issues as Helena. I like nn callie.

Not keen; it is made up, sounds pretentious but not posh for its effort.

Sounds like the name of an artificial sweetener. I like Callie though. Lots of names that could be short for.

How do you pronounce it? Surely it would sound like calendar or cleaner?

Sorry but it also sounds medical to me. This is a bit harsh but it made me think of a contraceptive pill. Blush

Hmm cal-eh-nah sounds a bit...I don't know rather short and harsh to me, sorry.

Cal- ay-na sounds better to my ears but she'd spend an awfully long time correcting people I think.

Maybe an extra letter would help with the longer pronounciation such as caleyna but you're verging on the realms of the made up there aren't you and she'll be be forever correcting spelling.

Not much help from me there, sorry! I do like the sound of the longer pronounciation and would consider it for my list as it reminds me of the first p?ace dp and I went on holiday (Calella) but the spelling issue would probably keep it off the list.

And it sounds like 'cleaner' depending on which pronunciation you plump for.
