Brody Jenner reality star who is very very dreamy to look at! Wink

Tikkamasala · 31/10/2013 23:26

Brodie with an ie I think of Brodie from the Kate Atkinson books, with a Y I would think homeland though it did not occur to me until others said it. It is a good name I think

MoreBoober · 31/10/2013 23:11

Thanks Scout that's actually one of the names I really like just trying to convince DH Grin

Rosencrantz · 31/10/2013 23:08

It matches your other DCs names very well!

ScoutJemAndBoooooooooooo · 31/10/2013 18:33

Call his soon to be sister Iona, that goes well with Brody.

rileylaila5 · 31/10/2013 18:07

thanks everyone :)) x

I like it, I think it's more scottish than anything.

TwoTearsInABucket · 31/10/2013 08:28

feather that's exactly what I was going to say! I even put Brodie on my list after watching mall rats Smile

VisualiseAHorse · 31/10/2013 08:28

I like it. But if I were to use it, I'd use it as a girls name, named after my teen punk idol, Brody Amrmstrong!

GrandstandingBlueTit · 31/10/2013 08:26

Not to my taste, but it goes well with your other names.

I know of a 4YO girl Brodie.

Featherbag · 31/10/2013 08:25

Reminds me of Mallrats. Good film, that!

MoreBoober · 31/10/2013 08:24

My DS is Brody so I obviously love it. Am Scottish but spelt it with a y on the end. I'm regularly complimented on his name and it just suits him so well. Struggling with what to call his soon to be here sister though! Shock

theladylovescupcakes · 31/10/2013 08:23

It's my son's name. There's a Brodie Castle about 60 miles away from me. I have heard of it being used for girls and boys, although I've only met one or two same named boys and no girls. Nice Scottish name.

InkleWinkle · 31/10/2013 08:20

It's a Scottish name.

I know 3 boys, all under 7 called this. I think it's a nice name.

callamia · 31/10/2013 08:16

I like it.
But Brodie and Riley make me think of the lightning seeds (not a bad thing).

Littlecherublegs · 31/10/2013 08:10

First thought was Homeland too!

It's not a name I would choose but it's nice enough and goes with your other DCs names.

KateCroydon · 31/10/2013 07:57

I like it, but I have a definite crush on Damien Lewis, who plays Sgt Brodie in Homeland.

funnyossity · 30/10/2013 23:29

I know a boy. It's nice I think!

Isthisstormcomingorwhat · 30/10/2013 23:28

I don't like it, sorry. Too American sounding, like Brody Jenner

kissmyshineymetalass · 30/10/2013 23:22

The only Brodie I've met was female

ScoutJemAndBoooooooooooo · 30/10/2013 23:18

I know a few Scottish boys with this name, very nice.

BeeBawBabbity · 30/10/2013 22:47

I think it's a girl's name. I'm scottish. I do really like it though.

AgathaPinchBottom · 30/10/2013 22:45

I know the best, kindest, handsomest guy ever called Brodie. He has the best soul of anyone I've ever known. I think it's a fantastic name!

prettybird · 30/10/2013 22:11

(One teenager and the other in his early 40s, I think)
