I like it but reminds me of Brody Jenner, reality show star.

PinkParsnips · 30/10/2013 18:14

I like it! It makes me think of an Australian surfer type!

KateCroydon · 30/10/2013 19:53

Homeland

SlinkyB · 30/10/2013 20:03

I really like it. Considered it for my ds. The lady in the bed opposite me in hospital when I had him called her son Brodie, but she was Scottish and the way she pronounced it was beautiful. I didn't think it had the same charm said in our West Country accent! Grin

UriGHOULer · 30/10/2013 20:04

I like it.

Leeds2 · 30/10/2013 21:01

Wouldn't be my choice. But I don't think it is completely outlandish, and if you like it, then go for it!

LostMarbles99 · 30/10/2013 21:34

Homeland fan!

creepypenisreaper · 30/10/2013 21:37

Lovely name, it sounds Scottish (maybe because of Brodie Country Fayre?)

yellowsnownoteatwillyou · 30/10/2013 21:38

It means 2nd son, I know a few but not babies, all from about 5 to 11.
Not my choice but a nice name.

Dontletthemgetyoudown · 30/10/2013 22:01

Im not keen. Sorry

CooCooCachoo · 30/10/2013 22:05

Homeland

prettybird · 30/10/2013 22:10

I like it. But maybe that's got something to do with knowing two very nice Brodies. I'm in Scotland. Smile

(One teenager and the other in his early 40s, I think)

AgathaPinchBottom · 30/10/2013 22:45

I know the best, kindest, handsomest guy ever called Brodie. He has the best soul of anyone I've ever known. I think it's a fantastic name!

BeeBawBabbity · 30/10/2013 22:47

I think it's a girl's name. I'm scottish. I do really like it though.

ScoutJemAndBoooooooooooo · 30/10/2013 23:18

I know a few Scottish boys with this name, very nice.

kissmyshineymetalass · 30/10/2013 23:22

The only Brodie I've met was female

Isthisstormcomingorwhat · 30/10/2013 23:28

I don't like it, sorry. Too American sounding, like Brody Jenner

funnyossity · 30/10/2013 23:29

I know a boy. It's nice I think!

KateCroydon · 31/10/2013 07:57

I like it, but I have a definite crush on Damien Lewis, who plays Sgt Brodie in Homeland.

Littlecherublegs · 31/10/2013 08:10

First thought was Homeland too!

It's not a name I would choose but it's nice enough and goes with your other DCs names.

callamia · 31/10/2013 08:16

I like it.
But Brodie and Riley make me think of the lightning seeds (not a bad thing).

InkleWinkle · 31/10/2013 08:20

It's a Scottish name.

I know 3 boys, all under 7 called this. I think it's a nice name.
