Sonny!

Sarahmains40 · 16/08/2013 21:21

George I love

ElBombero · 16/08/2013 21:23

Sonnys always been my favourite but DH afraid it's too unusual and therefore abit 'chavvy' (no flaming his words not mine)

Mmmm love George too, goes well with our surname, however put me off abit with Kate & Wills bagging it, is it going to be hugely popular over the next year or two?? X

Arnold! It's such a brilliant name. Smile

I also like Sonny a lot.

George is OK - not at all keen on William.

SoftSheen · 16/08/2013 21:27

George and William are both great, Arnold is OK but Sonny is absolutely dire- please don't do this to your son!

Vijac · 16/08/2013 21:29

William I love. George is nice. Arnold and Sonny not so much (Sonny last by quite a way).

Ihatepeas · 16/08/2013 22:41

Love William and George.
Really not sure about Arnold, could defiantly grow on me I think.
I hate Sonny awful awful name. (sorry)

Bowlersarm · 16/08/2013 22:42

William

Def not Sonny.

Sirzy · 16/08/2013 22:44

My order for them would be - William, George, Arnold (and then some way behind them) sonny.

Doilooklikeatourist · 16/08/2013 22:46

Sonny- awful
Arnold - not much better
William - family name , love it
George - DS 1 name , love it too

Retroformica · 16/08/2013 22:47

George and William

Sarahlundismyhero · 16/08/2013 22:49

William without a doubt!

Onesleeptillwembley · 16/08/2013 22:58

Sonny is fucking awful. George will look like you're a sheep, with the royyal one, sadly.

JacqueslePeacock · 16/08/2013 23:00

Is Sonny short for something? Could be OK as a nickname...

Nellelephant · 16/08/2013 23:01

William, Arnold, George then Sonny, in order of preference.

ElBombero · 17/08/2013 07:17

Sonny is such a marmite name!

I know a boy called Arnold with the nickname Arnie! I love it. I wouldn't go with George as there is going to be so many this year. I quite like William too.

MaryPoppinsBag · 17/08/2013 08:14

George (DS2) or William (middle name of DS) Smile

RooRooTaToot · 17/08/2013 09:15

I love George and William. I tried to persuade DH to call DS George (my Dad's middle name), but he hated it.

Like others above, Arnold could grow on me. As I don't know a child in RL called it, I think of Terminator, Rimmer and Hey Arnold, but if I met one in RL I'd think of them instead IYSWIM.

Don't like Sonny at all, I'm afraid.

thegreylady · 17/08/2013 09:47

I know two lovely boys named Sonny. One is 6 and one is 9. When I first heard the name I didn't like it but I love it now because I associate it with them. The only one of your names I dislike is Arnold although the Arnold character in the Kipper stories is very sweet.

waikikamookau · 17/08/2013 09:49

sonny has crept up in the recent list of popular names btw,
George is obviously royal connatations, but why not, and William of course. I like both actually.
not keen on Arnold, will he be arnie,?
