How many nicknames (sane or otherwise) do your children respond to?

DD's name is registered as Esme. Sometimes we call her that, but more commonly we address her by a nickname.

Nicknames in current usage are:

Ezum
Ezum Bezum
Ezum Bezum Boo Baa
Ezmatron
Ezmatronicles
Ezmatronicles of Narnia

Obviously for the purposes of this post I am discounting nicknames not tangentially related to her given name, such as Mrs Snuffles or StinkerWinker.

I think that this is probably a completely normal about of affectionate pet names for a child to have.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

DS1 is Cameron - or Cam, Cammie, Cameroon, or Macaroon.
DS2 is Isaac - or Ike, Ikey, Izzy, Iggy, Ikey Spikey, Iggy Wiggy, or the Igster.
DS3 is Laurie (Laurence) - or Lulu, Bula, Lula Bula, or Goo (I blame DSs 1 and 2 for that one).

I really don't know why, looking at those lists, I give my children nice names and then saddle them with such ridiculous nicknames Blush.

Dd is called maddison. She responds to piglet, which sometimes gets shortened to pig, affectionately, drives the Mil mad! . Also maddie mousecat and mads.

Thingie, WotsYerName, NoNotYouTheOtherOne, Oi...

Useful terms that apply to all three of my children and prevent me from having to remember their real names! Grin

With the occasional "Mr. Miggins", "Sef The Wef The Wef The Woo" and "Gorgeousy Porgeousy" thrown in for good measure. Blush
