baby names. will it still mean the same if i slightly change spelling

hi, i have found a name i really like but want to change the spelling slightly, just one letter. so people will spell it properly. i cant seem to find it spelt the way i want to on name sites. so just wondering if it will mean the same

Spell it how you want huni i have a friend who's daughter has the name Taryn & another has a son Torrin.

Torrin seems the closest you're going to get to the A sound you want.

I don't like it when you do this. I get confused at all the old-timers seemingly returning or genuinely think it's 06 and I still have a pre-child figure. Desist. It's upsetting.

I've only ever seen it spelt as Taryn and I live in Scotland too
