Alissia (specifically spelt that way to avoid being pronounced "al-eesha"
Alessia
Lexi
Lydia
Caitlin
Talia
Annalise

Caitlin and Lexi

Although, I do prefer Alexa and Lexi as a nn

stardustn · 06/08/2011 15:57

I think we have similar taste :) I love most of those, the only one I'm not keen on is Lexi (but I like Alexandra). My favourite would have to be Caitlin, followed by Lydia and Annalise.

diddl · 06/08/2011 16:14

Lydia.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/08/2011 19:06

That's quite a mixed list.

Lydia is a good solid name.

Don't like Alissia or Alessia or Talia or Annalise or Lexi, sorry.

babycham42 · 06/08/2011 19:07

Lexi and Talia

Rhubarbgarden · 06/08/2011 20:44

I like Alessia and Talia

Italiangreyhound · 06/08/2011 20:59

Talia and Annalise are my favourites.

Lydia is great.

Alissia - she'll be always spelliing it which is probably a pain.

greenzebra · 06/08/2011 21:43

Alissia (though i like the Alissa spelling and Elissa too )
Talia is nice too

cantsleepwontsleepever · 06/08/2011 22:47

Lydia is the only decent name here.

startail · 06/08/2011 22:54

Annalise, my flat mate married a lovely American exchange student called Annalise and I've always thought it was lovely.
Catlin is nice too.
Can't cope with Lydia, I just hear the first syllable and think of jar tops sorry.

TanyaBranning · 06/08/2011 22:54

Alyssia
Thalia

simpson · 06/08/2011 22:56

totally love Lydia

takethatlady · 07/08/2011 08:25

Talia
Lydia

:)

SaffronCake · 07/08/2011 11:34

Thalia and Lydia

Thalia with a h is actually of totally different origins to Talia even though they sound exactly the same (taa-lee-ah). If it ends up on your shortlist you might want to check out both before deciding.

brodanbell · 07/08/2011 11:42

Lydia is the best, followed by Annaliese.
Not keen on Talia or Lexi - they feel to me a bit too nick-namey for a first name.
Indifferent about Caitlin.
Alissia/Alessia etc - I tend to think that however you spell them your daughter will always be spelling it and correcting people. It's almost like people see the A L and S and think oh yeah, that's Al-ee-sha or summat like it!

casperella · 07/08/2011 11:54

Lydia teapot anyone? (Needs Scottish accent)

Sorry OP can't be of more help...

rainbowtoenails · 07/08/2011 12:18

Alissia and talia.

MorallyBankrupt · 08/08/2011 15:03

Lydia and Annalise
