Is using the same initial for brothers something to avoid (thinking of confusion with post)or does it not matter?

i have this problem, and it has caused some minor issues as we both work in the same (small) field, and people are always getting our work mixed up Wink

I wouldn't do it. My brother has the same initial as my dad. To cut a long story short, as a feckless teen he ran up huge debts on credit cards which he only got as they clearly were using my dads details for his creditworthiness (he got massive spend limits on several cards and dug himself a very big hole).

Im really surprised. All my post seems to come to Bei Jingaling not B Jingaling. Maybe that's an aussie thing though? Surely you can just request that post is directed to X Y Smith or Sam Smith instead of S Smith though can't you?

Wouldnt bother me. Go for same first initial if you like the names!

Left out? No, never occured to me tbh. But I was quite a bit younger than my siblings, and was separate to them anyway in growing up.
