Middle Name for 'Anna'?

We've decided on Anna for a little girl as I just find it so lovely and classic. Can't pick a middle name though - any suggestions? I liked Anna Violet but OH thinks Violet's too harsh - I also thought of Anna Lily but Lily is uber-super-popular now. It can't be a name ending in -a or beginning with a vowel (would sound funny). Help pliz!

Anna Lily sounds AWFUL sorry to be honest. It is weak and it sounds like Anally.

Anna Juliet on the other hand, just a suggestion compliments Anna and isn't so predictably of the moment.

Violet is ok, pretty in some ways but also strangely close to violent or violate. Could never choose it.

Anna needs something that neither begins nor ends in a vowel.

ValiumSkeleton: hmm, had not considered 'anally' as possible variation on name - that is actually quite rank. I did consider Juliet too so will rethink that as it is pretty.

Panzee: Anna Lucia is beautiful, thank you - will run it past OH to see if I can bully him into accepting it he likes it.

our DD (11months) is Anna elizabeth bluebell. I know bluebell's a bit naff, but we like it nevertheless! :O

I have an Anna Lily named after dh grandmother. Everyone commments on how pretty it is, even if it is really popular now. 3 years on I still love it.
