AIBU to prefer Galaxy over Dairy Milk chocolate?

Genuinely torn. But tonight, Galaxy wins it.

Even at its American worst, Daily Milk is still miles better than Waxy Galaxy.

Yeah, needs a third option. Everything is Unreasonable: They are both crap.

I may shuffle off and enjoy my mass produced shite in peace.

(I'm blaming AI for the contradiction. Guess the computer overlords cannot even trust us to name things now.)

They are both terrible! Get some nice chocolate, that contains chocolate. I recommend M&S

I used to when galaxy was really creamy, and you could smell it through the foil. Like most chocolate it’s just not that tasty now

I really miss the taste of old galaxy, creme eggs and Yorkie bars

Galaxy is disgustingly waxy horrible stuff. I wouldn’t even call it chocolate. Just sugar & fat.

Dairy Milk isn’t great, but at least it’s edible.

M&S, Ritter Sport, Waitrose Number 1, Tony’s, Lindt are all much better

I always buy myself a Galaxy selection box at Christmas but the last 2 years have found it quite waxy and tasteless

Yes, Ripple or Minstrels.

Buttons, Twirl & Flake were holding on, but they’re rubbish now too.

Has anyone noticed that Twirl is no longer layered the way it used to be? Now it just a coated Flake. Cheaper to produce, but it’s not the same texture anymore. Wispa is the same, the bubbles aren’t the right texture anymore…

I love Galaxy, there’s something a bit treacle-y about it. I really dislike posh chocolate, even Tony’s milk chocolate; it isn’t anywhere near sweet enough for me. One of the few areas in which I genuinely prefer the cheaper thing.

Galaxy has always been better than Cadbury Dairy Milk. I'm a child of the 1970s, and Galaxy back then had a smooth feel, like caramel, to me anyway. I like Marabou.
