But even so the organizers should have had a plan for it that officals knew and stepped in - because they were ones with a duty of care to other competitors and staff there.

You'd hope competators would have common decency but clearly that can not be relied upon - so organises should have had a plan.

so shame in that context is a healthy emotional response for the individual to have... assuming one has capacity to feel, self-awareness, ability to join the dots and self-reflect... in order to learn from the experience and change their behaviour in future similar situations

I can't imagine having to get on the rowing machine or down on the carpet after her. A PP mentioned period blood - I wouldn't mind so much coming into contact with that as it isn't normally infectious. Liquid diarrhoea could be from exertion or it could be one of a number of nasty bugs which shouldn't be spread around the other competitors. Really puts my friend's dog having a shit in the ring at Crufts into perspective 😄

It also makes me somewhat suspicious if there was an intention of it putting other people off thereby gaining an advantage over them. There appear to be four events; Pro Men, Pro Women, Open Men, and Open Women. JW is down as winning the Pro Women’s event on 10/09/26.
