Do I act cool or keen to get dream job?

I applied for a great job around two weeks ago, I passed the initial stage, then a video interview with the recruiter and then the employer himself called me and asked to meet in person.
At the time we were on holiday and returned back today. I told him we were travelling last week but would we be able to schedule for Monday 14th. He said yes that was absolutely fine and I said great and to just contact me closer to the day with a time that suited him to meet. He replied fantastic, that he would do and thank you.
I've not heard from him, I am available during school hours any day at the moment, so can be flexible as in, it could be anytime for me not necessarily tomorrow.
Should I message?
Could he have found someone else? The position required is very niche in experience needed for where we are and in all honesty, I can't see him having found someone (fingers crossed!)
It seems too late to message now to arrange for tomorrow?

Do I wait for him or message tonight/tomorrow?

To add-very wealthy family, travel lots, potentially are away/have forgotten?

He has just messaged, flashed up Whatsapp on my screen, so I haven't been on to open it
He says 9 tomorrow, but that gives me no time really now. Would it be rude to ask for that time on any other day? It has been left pretty last minute

I think @HalfMumHalfBiccit is spot on.
There could be any number of reasons you haven't heard from him, which boil down to this being just one item on his to-do list, even though it's understandably a big deal to you.

I would have messaged or phoned friday to remind him. But then I am very pushy.

The right time to message was Friday. Better late than never though.

He did say he'd message though 😬

I would contact them tomorrow with a polite. ‘Hi, hope you are well. I wanted to drop you a note to follow up on my interview. During our meeting you indicated that we might meet up on Monday 14th for a meeting in person. Please let me know if you would like to meet today or later this week.’

ideally you would have asked last week if the meeting was still Monday.

It seems very last minute though

Keen. Enthusiasm for a role can only go in your favour. Good luck!

So when would you message?
Why do you think he hasn't messaged though?
