Am i being unreasonable

My DS had 2 friends over. (One of which tried to convince him before to sneak out to the super at 11pm see my other posts for that)
We were all playing a board game and I won, this friend calls me a c.u.n.t. I immediately demanded an apology and asked the parents to pick him up explaining what he did. His parents are both furious and take away his electronics amd demand he apologise again.

My DS is having an early birthday party and sleepover and he’s asked if this friend can come.
Am I being unreasonable to say no?

we compromised that this friend can come to the party but not sleep over.

I would just be cold to the friend. He doesn’t deserve niceness from you anymore.

No snacks or lifts, nothing.

If a teenage girl called your husband a cunt in his own home, would you say your husband was being a schoolboy by not being friendly to the girl anymore?

Buzzfeed etc say that often Americans recoil in horror at the way British people use this word in a jokey way, so depending on his background, might not be seen as bad. They used to say don't worry if someone called you that in Glasgow-they said watch out if someone calls you pal instead.
Obviously fine to say you're not ok with it, and that people feel different ways about the word so best not to use it, but as he's said sorry, move on and start afresh.

Children shouldn’t say this even jokingly irrelevant of his background. What sort of background is it acceptable for kids to say cunt ?

I wouldn't have them over because of the previous incident and because I loathe that word. I know its popular to say it but I find it degrading to women. My boys know its not allowed to be said in our house.

With it being a birthday celebration with several others there, I wont take the risk of this boy pulling some other shitty stunt etc.

How old is the child? Tbf no you’re not being unreasonable! I would NEVER call my friends parents that even as a teenager! That’s so bad he felt comfortable enough to do it 😩
