Men in general?

I cant believe all these men who are attending protests and rallies against immigration and then using the argument that these illegals are raping and murdering women.

Funny how these men dont come out and protest when a white man commits these crimes... or do these men think that we, women, belong to the white man?

mostly men - come here illegally and then make false asylum claims.

Yes, home office data shows that men do make up the majority of asylum applicants ( roughly 70 to 75%) which makes sense because younger men often undertake the dangerous journeys first. The wives and children of these men follow legal channels once their husbands/fathers have their asylum claim granted and receive official travel documentation issued by the home office.

It is less likely for single females to “come here illegally” as traveling alone across Africa/middle east and mainland Europe face much higher risks of sexual abuse and human trafficking by smuggling networks.

Calling them “false claims” is just factually wrong. Official home office stats show 60 to 75% of initial asylum claims are approved and that number goes even higher after appeals. The vast majority of people coming here are legally recognised as real refugees fleeing war and persecution.

They then get accomodation, fed and given money and condoms and left to roam around formerly nice towns all day harrassing school girls and women.

As of recent home office figures Section 95 allowance is roughly £49.18 per person per week, or roughly £9.58 per week if in catered accommodation. They are legally prohibited from working whilst waiting for a decision on their claim. Do you expect them to sleep rough and starve?

The claim that asylum seekers drive up local crime rates and harass local girls isn’t supported by UK crime data. The Police Foundation and independent researchers (I.e the Migration Observatory at the university of Oxford) note that there is no evidence showing a direct correlation between the presence of asylum accommodation centers and an increase in local crime rates.

Its costs us billions.

True. A major driver of this cost is the backlog in processing claims, created by previous conservative legislation that legally paused decision making coupled with ongoing administrative and appeals delays, which leaves people dependent on state support for extended periods rather than entering the workforce, paying taxes and positively contributing to society.

The costs exist because domestic UK law (the 1999 Immigration and Asylum Act) and international law leave no alternative. The state is legally obligated to provide basic food and shelter so applicants don't end up destitute on the streets while waiting for a decision.

All other developed nations that signed the 1951 convention also spend billions supporting asylum seekers such as Germany, France, Sweden, Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Spain, USA, Canada, Australia.

Hi,

Given you agreed with most of my post, I am baffled to see you implore me to "stop getting your information from the likes of social media, Farage, Lowe, Tice, Yaxley, The Sun, Daily Mail et al. Please."

How does that make any sense?

You agreed its mainly men, you agreed they consume resources and agreed they cost us a fortune, yet concluded by saying my info was dodgy?

The men getting off these boats - most of whom I would not hesitate to describe as being savages, on account of their attitudes and conduct (especially towards women) - are NOT genuine asylum seekers. Their claims are an abuse of the system.

Most of them have been "shopping around" safe countries europe to see where they can get the most money for nothing, the most opportunity to rape etc.

They eventually end up here because the UK is such a soft touch, but hopefully not for too much longer.

Im amazed and shocked to see there are still people so naive as to think they are genuine.

Claims being granted do not represent genuine cases, but rather the government taking the easy option. (There are other factors at play here, such as a declining population which makes it seem reasonable to keep some of these chancers).

They all destroy their paperwork meaning it is impossible to identity who they are. This is why you get men making multiple claims, men claiming to be children, men claiming to be various nationalities etc.

Don't overlook the interests of a dysfunctional Home Office and greedy lawyers in all of this.

The destruction of ID papers is the main indicator they are fake. Genuine asylum seekers want to prove who they are, as it would help their case.

They rip the mickey out of us so overtly that its amazing anyone would have the brass neck to defend them. Once they get asylum, they often go home "on holiday" every year. Too dangerous to live there, but very nice for a couple of weeks in July! What a joke.

I remember an interview with an African who claimed he had claimed asylum because he was gay. In the next breath he then expressed his hope that he could bring his wife and children over to join him. Its just embarrassing that this kind of thing is given credence.

You ask "do I expect them to sleep rough and starve" - I have no expectation of them, other than to say they are not entitled to anything from the UK taxpayer.

In contrast, France gives them absolutely nothing, see how they live in shanty towns they have built in forests, which makes coming here very attractive to them.

Note that even sleeping rough or in a shanty town is often a significant improvement on the quality of societies men of these backgrounds manage to build for themselves.

Who would want to live where they come from? Often lawless places where savagery abounds and women are treated like dirt- Islamic countries, parts of Africa etc.

And lets not overlook the strong correlation between increasing numbers of these men and the ballooning rape statistics across western europe among countries stupid enough to indulge them.

They have no place here and they all must go.

Hey,

You’re cherry picking the factual points we agree on whilst ignoring the fundamental legal and statistical realities that disprove your broader conclusions. Acknowledging basic demographic statistics is not an agreement with your narrative about their motives, character or legal status.

Asylum decisions in the UK are not handed out casually. The home office applies a strict legal standard under international and domestic law. Applicants undergo rigorous, multi stage interviews, background checks and credibility assessments. The high grant rate (currently over 60 to 70%) reflects the fact that the vast majority of applicants originate from recognised conflict zones and autocratic regimes such as Afghanistan, Syria, Eritrea, and Sudan where risk to life is well documented.

Traffickers routinely confiscate documents and people fleeing authoritarian regimes often can’t safely request a passport from the government persecuting them. However arriving without a passport does not mean someone's identity isn't checked. The home office takes biometric data (such as fingerprints and facial scans) from every single arrival upon entry. These are crossreferenced against national, European and international security databases including interpol.

“France gives them absolutely nothing”.

This is factually incorrect. Under European Union law (the Reception Conditions Directive). France is legally required to provide asylum seekers with housing, daily living allowance and medical care. The “shanty towns” near Calais exist primarily due to sever capacity shortages in the French asylum system. Not a total absence of state support. Also France receives significantly more asylum applications annually than the UK.

Labelling an entire group of people with degrading terms and linking them directly to crime spikes is not supported by UK data. Both the police foundation and independent researchers have analysed local crime stats around asylum accommodation sites and found no direct correlation with increases in local crime or sexual offences. Criminal acts committed by any individual should obviously be prosecuted to the full extent of the law but assigning collective guilt to hundreds of thousands of people based on isolated incidents or social media narrative is factually baseless.

Once they get asylum, they often go home "on holiday" every year

If a recognised refugee returns to the country from which they fled the home office can, and regularly does, revoke their refugee status under the "cessation" clause of the 1951 Refugee Convention. Visiting a country of origin is a direct ground for cancellation of status because it demonstrates that the fear of persecution no longer exists.

Statistical data, international treaties and domestic law dictate how the asylum system works, not online hearsay or extreme anecdotes regularly spouted by Farage et al.

Disagreeing on policy is fair but misrepresenting basic legal and statistical facts does not make those facts disappear.

They have no place here and they all must go.

Good luck with that 👍🏼
