All body deodorant

Just seen that advert again for Sure All Body Deodorant. Am I the only one who gets a bit annoyed by it?

Has it now become a thing that we need to deodorise our entire bodies? My body doesn’t stink, and whilst I use deodorant under my arms because otherwise it might, I resent the idea that we have to chemically enhance ourselves to fit in socially.

Hopefully people will realise that this is an unnecessary scam and it will go away.

It’s what advertisers do. Invent a problem, then sell you the solution.

Going against the grain, I wouldn’t purchase myself but do know a friend who always moans about her larger breasts in summer who said she wishes they did deodorant for her boobs.

Maybe it’s not something you’d want but others might be happy

I put talc / baby powder under mine to help the sweat, mine are big and heavy so always touching the skin below. They don't smell though, they shouldn't smell unless she has some sort of fungal skin infection, it's just skin against skin. Skin shouldn't smell.

There was a thread about this recently. Most people agree, it's designed to make us all self conscious about body parts so we apply more chemicals while sweating so they make more money. Plus it's a crass disgusting ad.

Ah I didn’t know about the other thread.

But I agree about the advert. I hate the product but the actual advert is horrible. I thought the On The Beach advert last year with the fat family and the ‘booking brilliant’ hilarious wordplay was my least favourite advert. But these guys have surpassed it. Like adverts created by Peter Kay’s weakest gag-writer.

Yep. My boobs don’t need deodorant. It’s ludicrous. Yet more material for companies
to use to make women hate their bodies.

Most - arguably all - women don't have balls...

Thatsrhesummeroverthen · 24/06/2025 15:24

I mean, what's to stop you using your regular stuff if you feel you need it - why a special product?

FloofyBird · 24/06/2025 15:24

My boobs do 😂. But the one with the bloke spraying his balls, just no.

Under boobs, balls, arse.

Oh, and feet.

Never seen this. Wouldn't buy it.
Where are you supposed to put it apart from armpits? 😬

Its a load of nonsense. If you smell that bad, take a shower. Its designed to make people buy more rubbish.
