What with all the scaremongering threads about prepping for war & a lady inspecting her dh trousers for bodily fluids 🤣 I spend far too much time doom scrolling & reading mumsnet. Just as I'm at that saturation point & I'm bored it all up pop another couple of threads to draw us back in

The war is coming threads seems to get popular after certain political events. Start of the war in Ukraine saw a lot. It's a preppers dream though isnt it. Let's not begrudge it. Finally there's something solid to focus on again. The general end of the world is so wishy washy, now there's no longer Brexit and COViD to focus on.

I tend to think they are the same people as those who prepped for Brexit, then got over the disappointment Brexit wasnt la The Walking Dead scenario, by the joy of COViD which meant they could frantically scrub and Milton (wearing hazmat suits - bought in advance), and then quarantin their shopping* for 36 hours to protect themselves from the germs of the filthy person who delivered said shopping, because they were too scared prepared enough not to go to a shop themselves.

*shopping bought top up thier stocks, and definitely not panic buying and causing stock shortage like all the other fools that went to shops.

Obviously I'm being mean. it's jealousy because I don't have a basement with things like 100 cans of marrowfat peas and 5kg of lentils in it.

After Covid, I bought a Japanese toilet that spray washes and dries my bum. Never again…will I need to strategize in order to buy toilet paper.

The trouser stains are absolutely hilarious, although I wish the poor guy who has been humiliated online knew about it - he has the right to know what a completely boundary-smashing disrespectful loon he's ended up with.
