To ask what happened to Bluntness100?

I used to enjoy her posts but haven’t seen her around for a while. Does anyone know whether she is still on MN?

I think someone doxxed her IIRC. I logged out before it happened and afterwards everyone was talking in hushed, cryptic tones because they weren't allowed to talk about it but were trying to!

One of these type of posters left shortly after someone bumped an old thread where they were condescendingly defending Jimmy Savile from someone else who said he seemed creepy. I think it was worra.

I agree. @billy1966 gave such calm and measured advice to so many women who were struggling in their relationship. She also had a distinctive posting style.

You enjoyed the way she consistently laid into OPs? Why? She was either banned or name changed.

I always assumed her real life was Esther small and unsatisfying, which was why she spent so much time on here trying to be superior to others. 🫢

All I remember about Bluntness was her not remembering my username between threads, and alternately telling me I must be an awful person or a lovely woman according to whether or not she agreed with me in the moment.

I was wondering the other day about all the classics - WorraLiberty, AnyFucker, CunningStunt, AtYourCervix etc. Probably just name changed but I hope they’ve left the internet and are off gambolling in a flowery meadow or something, free of the grip of Mumsnet. Purely because I wish for that for myself and seem unable to leave 😂

In all likelihood any poster who seems to have disappeared is either banned or still around under a different name. There are plenty of obnoxious posters so take your pick.

Surely most users name change at least a couple times a year.

Unless another poster knows them personally (very unlikely since the site is largely anonymous) then how would anyone know?

Some have a very noticeable posting style.

I agree. Could never understand why some posters fawned over her. I'm sure I remember her saying she lived in a 'gentlemans residence' and that piece of information now lives rent free in my head Grin.

I still wonder about @bertrandrussell! Always liked her posts and no idea what happened to her. Is she under a new name or did she get banned?
