To ask what happened to Bluntness100?

I used to enjoy her posts but haven’t seen her around for a while. Does anyone know whether she is still on MN?

I suppose some folk change usernames sometimes; some change them a lot; some never change them at all. We've no way of knowing whether she's still on here or not.

I googled it and found something on Reddit from 3 years ago about Bluntness being banned, so is that why she then came back as Bluntness100? In any case, I can't find any further info.

It’s not a TAAT though, it’s a TAAP.

Can’t say Bluntness’ post were particularly memorable except I remember she fancied herself on authority on work related matters and she brooked no dissension.

Not sure why she’s remembered. I think people name change so often now, maybe that’s why.

Didn't she get her arse handed to her over the going to the second home thing over Covid? I don't think I have seen her since then. Unless she is back under another name with a completely different posting style.

In all likelihood any poster who seems to have disappeared is either banned or still around under a different name. There are plenty of obnoxious posters so take your pick.

Surely most users name change at least a couple times a year.

Unless another poster knows them personally (very unlikely since the site is largely anonymous) then how would anyone know?

I agree. Could never understand why some posters fawned over her. I'm sure I remember her saying she lived in a 'gentlemans residence' and that piece of information now lives rent free in my head Grin.

I still wonder about @bertrandrussell! Always liked her posts and no idea what happened to her. Is she under a new name or did she get banned?
