I do love the fundamental conflict between Denton's very sane and considered "stay out of the spotlight" guidance and the irrepressible narcissism of those for whom the guidance was intended. Grin

Poor Dentons. They tried.

I wish I hadn't seen this. Now I'm wondering if I should listen to it, at the risk of my radio going out of the window.

Why is this person on at all? Surely there are more appropriate channels for them? Disappointed

We should all tweet Woman’s Hour and Emma Barnett and ask her to challenge Grace on this statement.

Ah yes The Staggering Penis, just what woman's hour needs to celebrate. I take it Emma isn't in today?

I hope Emma is in and that she's not up for #nodebate.

I'd like to hear EB interview Grace Lavery. This could be interesting.

Maya had quite the grilling from EB just before her tribunal.

Let's see if EB takes quite as robust a line with Lavery.

Wow. Since Lavery chickened out of a debate with Helen Joyce on Unherd I'm very surprised that they are putting themselves up for Emma Barnett on Woman's Hour.

I wondered if they've ever listened to the programme or have just been beguiled by the title into thinking it's an hour of chat about figure-flattering fashion and how to please your partner in the bedroom.

Very much hoping Emma Barnett is in the chair today and deals have not been made behind the scenes about no-go areas for discussion.

Looks like it is Emma.

Woman's hour doesn't exactly have a great track record. I stopped listening when they had the audacity to use phrases like pregnant people / people who have periods. FFS if you can't say "women and girls" on woman's hour Hmm

I so hope this is the case!

I think it would be a good thing if Emma asked Lavery about the part in Lavery’s book that says Lavery’s penis felt “as though I were laying my own miscarried foetus across my hand”.

I don't think that gives the impression that GL knows anything at all about miscarriage. Just that GL is very fond of GL's own dick.

Do womens' hour usually have people who glamourise and post photos of domestice abuse of their partner all over the internet?
