New article here about Stonewall giving bad advice to schools.

It's really good to see more of this coming out into the open.

I’m glad to see more legal experts speaking out. It feels like a massive house of cards is beginning to fall.

Wow fantastic. (And with mumsnet quotes its another reason its so important for this discussion to continue within fwr.)

Brilliant piece Grin
Yes, MNHQ, do note the free publicity that Mumsnet gets, just by allowing this board to remain!

Just a heads up - the link in the OP takes you directly to a Dailly Mail page.

I know they have been pretty good at covering this issue but, like many others, I ty to avoid giving them clicks if I can.

Wow. There it all is. In black and white.

And reads just as mad as you'd expect. Only a bit worse actually. No boys must be accommodated with girls - unless they say they're really a girl of course.

And wasn't St Paul's school the one where ten girls in the same class 'came out' simultaneously?

Great piece. It’s by the excellent Sanchez Manning, who also has an interview with Maya in today’s edition. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9680247/Mother-lost-job-saying-trans-women-never-truly-female-speaks-out.html

As the Daily Mail carries excellent articles like this, I am more than happy to click on them.

What a good article and how important to see what's happening in schools challenged.
Toomie If the Guardian carried articles like this rather than suppressing voices raising concerns about safeguarding and women's rights, so many of us wouldn't have cancelled our subscriptions. So that leaves us with the Daily Mail and other publications who value freedom of speech.

Great article. Really clearly lays out the illegal advice stonewall has been churning out.

Also good to see the issue of cost bring brought up (via Mumsnet quotes!). Schools who can't afford toilet paper but are paying out thousands to Stonewall.

That interview is excellent too. So clear and calm. It also calls Karen White 'he'! It's amazing the relief I feel seeing that.

She offered her opinion on Karen White – a transgender prisoner, born male, with a history of sex offences, who sexually assaulted two women when he was placed in a female jail.

And she questioned the wisdom of giving a ‘gender fluid’ man, Credit Suisse director Philip Bunce, who occasionally dresses as a woman, an award for being one of the top 100 women in business. But a few days after broaching this subject, she received an email from the HR department saying concerns had been raised about her tweets.

Correct sexing of these two is noteworthy I think.

Oh Stonewall! Just repeat the same old crap about respect and don't engage with any of the issues. You're accused of selling dangerous advice. Can you really not do any better?

Report
highame · 13/06/2021 08:25

I think the problem is that Stonewall has been taking legal advice and I think that advice has come from companies like Denton's. If they hadn't had advice they wouldn't have got as far as they have. Not just legal, but marketing etc etc a whole juggernaut of anti-woman

nauticant · 13/06/2021 08:29

The Stonewall article is good but reading it shows how insidious the gender stuff is:

[Naomi Cunningham] said the Equality Act allows some sports lessons to be segregated on the basis of gender

I wonder if she really did say that. Or whether someone later on was seized by the need to "correct" her words.

Given that a young person cannot be put on trans medication until they are over 17, is there any such thing as trans under that age, or is it a gender choice? Working on the assumption that words matter, not trying to obliterate the term for kids

Report
SquirrelFan · 13/06/2021 08:43

@highame they don't have to be 17

Report
highame · 13/06/2021 08:59

OK. Under 16 a court order is required and under 17 to 18 a court order if there is any doubt and the fox killer has managed to get one child permission to continue but this is not a new case and the Judge said this was not under any circumstances to conflict with the KB case

Report
Whatsnewpussyhat · 13/06/2021 09:13

She said the Equality Act allows some sports lessons to be segregated on the basis of gender

This stood out to me too. Should be sex and I'm surprised she said this.

Other than that it was great.

This shit actually encourages schools to push trans ideology. Just for rainbow badges.

It isn't fair and inclusive to any female pupil as it discriminates on the basis of sex, removes their boundaries and the very language they use to describe themselves.

Man/woman are not fucking genders.

You can also get cross sex hormones from the age of 13 privately via GenderGP. I suspect most children being affirmed as the opposite sex are well aware of this route.

These days I look at the journalist rather than the publication - Sanchez Manning and Tanith Carey have published great articles, if they’re in the Mail/MoS so be it.

Happy to pay to buy any paper that speaks out against harm against children. These policies do not safeguard children and therefore it is imperative that this tide is turned.

Much as I dislike the Mail, I am so glad to see not 1 but 2 clear articles that will hopefully be read by a lot of people.

Good to see it out there.

If anyone has any doubts about what the paper is saying based on what the paper is then I suggest they Google the source if the advice the - allsorts trans inclusion tool kit.

That has it all there

On the issue of the Mail... I happily read their articles on women's rights because they are generally pretty good. The Mail has a very wide readership so it's also good to see what Jo Public is being told about this.

In terms of giving them clicks, I'm happy to click on these links. DM data analysts will see which articles are getting traffic and they're not going to carry on writing these articles if no one reads them.
