We talk about wanting to exterminate trans people on Mumsnet? WTF? And we attack trans women then say they attacked us??

This person has thousands of followers including Barack Obama, Sophie Walker WEP and Marian Keyes.

Absolutely mad.

Thats how narcissists see the world - if you don't validate them its the same as killing them.
For me it's another good argument to strengthen the laws protecting single sex spaces.

Followers of Genderism have a great deal in common with Incel MRAs. Had you noticed?

This is the same person who has been posting tweets with a distinct whiff of homophobia too - all about how people should be attracted to 'gender identity' not genitals and so forth.

Real nasty gas-lighty crap: "If you think you’re attracted to genitalia rather than gender, I hope you meet and get a crush on an amazing trans person of the gender you’re attracted to so you can finally understand how your sexuality works!"

I believe this rational and sensible individual has created a Twitter stir in recent days by saying something along the lines of work not being a moral thing to do. They've certainly garnered a lot of attention from lots of people, which, from their timeline, seems the endgame.

I get very bored with controversialists. Always thinking they have something devastating to say, hugging themselves with glee when they hit 'send tweet' and checking their notifications every two minutes for the attention cookies.

Probably a self-awareness too, so I imagine we'll get a tweet wave at some point. This person will probably think they've really hit the big leagues if both Ben Shapiro and Mumsnet are looking at them...

Genuinely astonished at gay people being like “no I am only attracted to sex characteristics not some bullshit ‘gender’ nonsense” like wow, we’re gay, we’re meant to be more introspective than this.

See, this is homophobia.

Edison made international news a few years back (probably why the high profile follows).

I suspect I probably signed the petition in support of AE back then.

Now I don’t believe that male born people should ever be housed in the female estate, although I support separate, tailored facilities for TG people.

Edison’s views on prostitution give me the shivers. Pretty sure AE posts on here under a nom de plume - forever getting exasperated when absolutely no one agrees.

Maria MacLachlan tweeted this reply which is splendidly ironic:

I'm sure you have the hard evidence to back up this rather surprising assertion. Can we see it please? Otherwise those who aren't wearing blinkers are going to have a hard time believing it.

But honestly, I’m sick and tired of perfectly answering your questions asked in bad faith only for you to then move the goalposts or switch topic.

I hope you meet an amazing trans woman and fall in love with her. Bye.

Holy shit do you have any idea how incredibly homophobic you sound?

Avery Edison
@aedison
I know a lot of lesbians who happily do dick

Arielle Scarcella
@ArielleScarcell
IMO I wouldn’t call them lesbians. Sounds like a bit of biphobia to me. But people ID as they wish.

@aedison
Congrats on your double dose of homophobia and transphobia. Women with dicks are still women! It’s not hard to understand!

Is this person really trans?

I heard it on the gay vine that Avery is a woman pretending to be trans pretending to be a woman.

This type of shit makes my head spin so much I don't know where it will stop...

Totally ludicrous to accuse MNetters of wanting to exterminate transpeople.

It would be quite nice if certain TRAs (incl Avery) could stop telling lesbians to accept penis - if would be quite nice if women were allowed to meet for meetings to discuss women's rights without threats of violence, and if certain young people weren't being indoctrinated from pre-puberty into a pathway of puberty blockers, sex hormones and surgery.

But none of that = extermination.

I sold photos of my feet (to a man who approached me via a eBay shoes listing) for more than that 15 years ago.

Avery Edison is the individual who, a few years ago, had such a sense of (male, white, middle-class) entitlement that they did not bother to get the right papers to travel to another country and were surprised and horrified when they were detained and put into a detention centre with other males. Edison tweet-led a campaign to be moved into a woman's detention centre, because clearly there has never been such a terrible miscarriage of justice as this white-middle class male being held in the dungeons of ....Canada. The detention centre didn't even take Edison's phone off them.

Avery Edison is also the individual who wrote a whiny, self-pitying blog called "The best of both worlds". This recounted the one-night stand that Edison had with a woman that Edison had met in a lesbian bar. This woman knew Edison was trans, was cool with it, and they went off together and had enthusiastic, consensual sex. All terribly modern and sex-positive, no? But wait! Edison was not satisfied with this enthusiastic, consensual one-night stand, and whined about how awfully sad this woman's transphobia had made Edison.

What was this woman's terrible transphobic crime? She did not want penis-in-vagina sex with Edison. This was mean to Edison, and terribly, terribly unfair, as why couldn't this woman see that Edison's penis was not the same as a man's penis?

tl;dr: in Edison's world, women are never, ever allowed to have boundaries.

Thanks Archery for the back story.
Clearly an individual with issues.

Does he work? Is he also busy raising a family/caring for others, volunteering etc?

Or is it all ME ME ME? And the luxury of time to while away the hours, unlike most average folk.
