She's written the Notebook column today, and the second item is headed "Meet me in the lobby". It's about Stephen Doughty's attack on her: "He was referring to a column I wrote last november, to acompany a long-researched Saturday Magazine report on the spike in teenage girls being referred to gender clinics: a 3,500 per cent increase in seven years..."

OT but can someone tell me how to do the bloody share tokens?

I can't stand those screens that video you as your scanning stuff at the self checkout.
It's really unnerving.

You need to be a Times subscriber, and then you can click the little email button and it pops up a shareable link.

Times offer of £1 a month for 3 months to subscribe online is well worth it.

I took that offer @Wander, and when I called to cancel the trial, they offered me a £2/week on a rolling term (no min contract). It's been worth it so far.

Funnily enough Doughty quickly and happily agreed to have a coffee with James Kirkup who wrote about this in the Spectator but no response to coffee offer from Janice. How could that be?
