Hello fellow fatties.

Today 10 11 - so only a pound lost this week and I had gone down to 10 9 midweek. But I have slowly been eating more - ITS COLD!! I like to eat when its cold!

Trying again today.

porridge

mushroom and bacon soup (from Sunday Times GI diet) for lunch. I am taking a banana and an apple with me.

I MUST NOT SNACK AT TEA TIME. I have a muffin at the ready that I will have with jam no butter.

Steak salad tonight. No wine obv.

TARGET WEIGHT: 10 7.

Today so far I've had an apple and a small bunch of grapes and I walked ds to school so that's 50 minutes pushing a buggy. Lunch probably half an avocado and some smoked salmon and supper is def salmon steaks as they've got to be used up. Might roast some veg to have with them. No idea of weight but not weighing until Feb. Still no booze, I think it's 19 days now (yep, I'm counting!)

Right - starting off with good intentions today after the excesses of the weekend.(won't go into details but included chips, butter, cream, chocolate, ciabatta and lots of wine)

So far:
bowl of museli and an apple
2 x cups of tea.

Am going to the gym in an hour's time

Well I'll come back here too!!

I have been away skiing (loads of exercise) but I am too scared to weigh myself! The goal was 11st 7lbs by end of Jan, and I was 11st 10lbs before I went. I think I might have a problem!!

However I am back to the good diet, I stocked up with ready meals for this week, so I am doing veggie stick, prawns and fruit during the day, ready meal and veggies in the evening. Hopefully I'll get close to my goal, as I want to be 11st by the end of Feb.

I hate:
1 Cold weather
2 PMT
3 Weekends

What the hell happened to my new year resolution?
I am back on the booze, snacking for Britain and totally disgusted at myself for not keeping up with this diet.
Kick me up the backside someone please!

Started Monday with good intentions - porridge for brekky and a salad & fruit for lunch. Just need to keep it up now.

gingerbear - stop it NOW (in best faux-cod voice, slightly unconvincing). Porridge, good. Salad and fruit, good. What are you going to have as a snack later? You are allowed two a day I say.

I am going to have a muffin with jam (obv no butter) and a plain natural yog. Both at kids tea time.

I can also feel myself slipping (had extra glass of wine on Friday night) but have woken up today full of renewed vigour.

iota! at chips, butter, cream! We can let you off the ciabatta and wine (unless industrial quantities) but butter and cream should now be REDUNDANT.

I know I've been bad Enid, but we went to stay with some friends at the weekend and she cooked for us and it would have been rude not to eat all the lovely food.....[sheepish smile]....and then we had lunch out on Sun

Anyway have been to the gym and burnt a few calories and made veg soup for lunch, so am feeling fairly virtuous now.

current weight 11.6, loss so far 4lb

How's everyone else doing?

Enid - depends on what die you're following - basmati rice is low GI, but if you're doing Atkins or low carb it's not so good
