Morning, I need a kick up the bum to lose weight so will join you. I’m 5’6 and 13st 5 so need to get rid of about 3st to get to my happy size. I’m aiming for 3xweek gym sessions and not comfort eating my life away any more. I’ve done the club way successfully before too but it doesn’t fit in with cooking for my family anymore so just cutting out sweets/junk and drinking loads of water and smaller portion sizes is what I’m trying to start with.
Great idea @BlueEyedFloozy. I've never done the weekly public weigh in but I can imagine how much fun that would be . I did do SW online after my second child for about a year and I lost weight but felt like I stuffed up my metabolism in the process. Anyway here's to long lasting weight loss.
I'm 5' 3" and weigh 9 st 13. I'm aiming to lose a stone by mid January.
Weighing in at 15 stone. I am in shock as I was just under 14 stone when I weighed myself 2 months ago, which was bad enough. But I have put on more than a stone!

Hi. May I join? I am currently 98.6kg which is 15.5 stone
So I have joined a gym and weight loss program. I have lost just over 3kg this week as I was over 100kg!
I’m hoping to be fit and healthy by this time next year.
Welcome @lavenderbongo. 3kg is loads, well done! I'm down a few pounds at the moment, down to 9 st 10. V pleased with my show but steady progress. This week's aim is to get down to 9 st 8. Going to walk the kids to school every day and start adding in short youtube workouts in the morning
13 stone 3 pounds here. I really cant shift it at the moment seem to be putting on a pound a month which is going the wrong way
I will join too. No diet plan but trying to eat less and be mindful with it. 5 foot 9 and have gained weight in the last 6 months through comfort eating. I've still been exercising but the weight has gone somewhere.
No weight loss for me this week. Still at 9st10. I'm a bit disappointed I haven't lost anything but if I'm being honest with myself I have been overdoing the snacks. My positives are that if I've maintained my weight, done 10,000 steps every day and found a really fun Zumba class this week. Will do better on my snacks this coming week and also start doing 5 minutes of weights every day.

I’ve lost 1lb this week so I’m pleased with that. Not been to the gym due to work/kids but the aim is still there when the time pressures ease off a bit. New week fresh start

-0.5 - better than nothing and I'm trying to adjust to just eating healthier, smaller portions etc rather than dieting so I'm happy with that
Meal out for a friend birthday tonight... No low cal options but never mind. Stay on track today, let go tonight and start afresh tomorrow!
Weighing in today at 9 st 12. Up 2 lbs from last week. This past week has been a rollercoaster. My weight has fluctuated massively so I'm kind of relieved to only end up 2 lbs up. I think I've worked out where I've been going wrong, so it's been a good eye opener. This time next week I want to be back to 9 st 10.

Knowing where you're going wrong is 90% of the battle Mungo - well done for that, sometimes life throws a curve ball and you just need to deal with it in your own way

You're right, knowledge is power.. now I've just got to put what I know into place.. Less wine in the evening and stop overeating snacks in the afternoon (that's my stressful time and I end up shovelling food into my mouth without really noticing it). My plan is uplifting playlist on Spotify, lots of water and cut up carrots and cucumber in advance so that I can munch on those instead.
Can I join you, I weighed in yesterday at 11st7.5 and have been losing and regaining the same 4lbs for the last 6 months. Am on a mission to get below 11st4 this month and start making some progress. Has not gone well this morning with a cooked breakfast but am off to the gym for a couple of hours now
Welcome @muddledmidget . It's tough when you fall into that pattern of losing/gaining. You must be pretty fit though if you spend 2 hours at the gym! I don't think a cooked breakfast is necessarily that bad is it?
I'm trying to work on my fitness but it's hard after so long away. At the moment I'm doing a couch to 5k app. It's frustrating as I used to be super fit so just want to get back to that instantly!
Morning - I’m down another 1lb this week, had a night out so hoping to keep to smaller portions this week and stick with it. Or I’ll be tempted to eat the kids/DH treat foods in the house. 4 weeks till my Christmas do so that’s my mini goal - party dress hanging up already

Great that you're down -1lb, well done! I'm maintaining at the moment (which I think is good after a boozy/sugary weekend!). Will ramp up the effort during the week. I've got a walk planned with a friend this afternoon and tomorrow morning so I should be over 10k steps both days.
I'll join, I'm down from 87 to 79kg over the past 2 months. I can eat low cal for a few days then I'm reaching for a family pack of doritos and defo not sharing. Want to get down to a size 16 (it's my tree trump legs stopping me) by the end of the year.

I gave up smoking 3 weeks ago and as I was overweight to start with I really need to address this at the same time.
I'm 5' 2" and 11 stones 9 lbs. I'm post menopausal and have an underactive thyroid which are both making weight loss difficult.
I figure that if I can give up smoking then weight loss should be a doddle...in theory.
