gosh, this was very good.

I am certainly no JW fan, but decided to record it for possible use with my reading clubs. Then watched it anyway.

I sobbed and sobbed at the end when she was phoning the number on the bin. I just howled

I cried all the way through, so well acted. I didn't think much of Dakota Blue Richards in The Golden Compass but she was excellent in this.

OrmIrian · 22/12/2008 14:18

I had a good old sob at this. DH had a tear or two as well. DC thought we were mad.

So lovely

Can I join the sobfest? I blubbed - both Dakota Blue Richards and Juliet Stephenson were fantastic.

DisasterArea · 22/12/2008 21:31

both dds watched and loved this. dd2 actually suggested getting the book!!"!!!! (she doesn't do reading)

SparklyBaubleFeast · 22/12/2008 21:34

the book doesnt have juliet stephenson's point of view - but is very good - less of a sobfest - as far as i remember.
