Maybe a big kitchen is important for you to have some relaxed holiday meals or is a barbeque something you look for? Is suitable décor important? Is a private pool or hot tub a must for you and your family? Maybe you travel with pets and find that rental properties are the only way in which you and your companions are able to soak in the sun.

This villa in Tuscany is perfect. A small private pool, rural surroundings, rustic authentic decor. It's beautiful.

Finding a villa with a decent private pool is hard in Italy. Usually the pool is shared by a number of barns/villas. A private pool is our non-negotiable when looking for a self catering property.

The bed looks a bit on top of the living room but for the price, the view and the rest of the space, I'd say that's a bargain and I would love to stay there!

I love this. I love Barcelona anyway..its such an amazing city with so much going on but also on the coast which makes it perfect.
I really like staying somewhere with an open plan kitchen as at home I have a tiny offshot so really enjoy being able to cook and socialize at the same time. Also outdoor space is really important when you are staying somewhere sunny and a nice big bathroom with a powerful shower :)

Wow ! We were lucky to visit coastal Oregon last year but think we could keep going for many years & still not see everything.

We rented a couple of properties & needed to have a big fully equipped kitchen with space for everyone round a table.

Inconsistencies between properties can be a big problem. Basic supplies like cleaning stuff & oil,salt & pepper etc is good

I like this place because I love the Los Cristianos area of Tenerife. It also means a lot to us that the property has it's own pool and that there's enough bedrooms that the kids can have their own rooms so they don't have to share (and keep each other up all night)! The fact that it has 3 bathrooms and secure parking is also a bonus.
