unbranded rice cakes

Try as I might I can't find out if I have to sin these (I'm new to slimming world so it might be me being inept). They contain brown rice and a trace of salt - nothing else

Soooooo syn or not syn - and if syn then why as rice is a free food?

Run it through the syns calculator online and see what it says. It might be zero...

According to the syns online app, large plain rice cakes are 1.5 syns each.
I buy the chocolate covered ones in Lidl, they are 4 syns each.

Thanks both of you - I did think of running it through the sin calculator but you have to choose if it has free food in it or not - and rice is a free food....hence my (newbie) confusion.
