App notifications

Not sure if I'm allowed to post this question here as it's more about the app than the site.

I have notifications permitted on the app, but never, ever get one to my phone when I'm tagged or mentioned in threads.

What am I doing wrong? It's the IOS version of the app.

Hi @FireandBrimstone thanks for reporting this. Please can you delete and reinstall the app, then check your settings? Give us a shout if you still don't receive any notifications.

Hi @FireandBrimstone thanks for mentioning - you're right, the push notifications have major problems. We're currently rebuilding the system that sends them, so hopefully in a few months we'll have something that works much more reliably. Thanks for your patience!

@TimMumsnet @soniamumsnet I thought by magic you'd fixed something when I got a totally random push notification earlier this morning. But nothing before or since - and no badges on the app.

Glad to hear it's not just me doing something wrong! Look forward to the fixes.
