I did a test a couple of days ago which was a very faint positive, I did another today which was around twice as dark (although not dark - still relatively faint compared to the control line).
Today however I have pretty bad period pain and feel a little like its going to start any moment!. This will be baby number 5 and so i wondered if the increased cramping could be because this would be my third pregnancy in 2.5 years?. Or could it be a sign something is wrong?

I remember having cramps - first pregnancy - very early on. I was also really worried, but soon the pain subsided and everything was fine with my pregnancy. So it's not necessarily a bad indication. Best of luck!!

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I too have been very crampy with this one, which I don't remember with the others, ten years ago though! I am now 10 weeks, and have been googling frantically, it all says as long as there is no bleeding dont worry about it. Hopefully someone with experience of this will be along in a minute!

thanks :) I am surprised to feel anything this early on with my others I have been probably 7 weeks before any significant symptoms at all - one of the reasons i took the test was because I felt a little queasy. I think this baby means business I just hope its got a good hold!

I think this kind of cramping in early pregnancy in very common and could be implantation cramps. I certainly felt bad period type cramps in the early weeks and even had some spotting. I went on to have a normal healthy pregnancy so it doesn't necessarily mean there is anything wrong.

I've can't advise on if multiple pregnancies makes this worse i'm afraid.
