I was wondering if any of you had any knowledge about this or whether I've managed to convince myself of something that is medically impossible. I had morning sickness for the first four and a half months of pregnancy, I was sick several times a day and felt generally crap. It disappeared but in the last week or so, I'm 38 weeks now, the nausea has returned with the occasional bout of sickness.
So, here's my question: If morning sickness in early pregnancy is eased by the placenta getting up and running properly, when it returns in late pregnancy does it mean the placenta isn't working as well as it should? This is my first pregnancy and I've been monitored because my baby is so big, I'm just worried that he/she is alright in there. Is there a worried control freak emoticon?
