This thread is for the 500 MNers who've been trying out baby-dry New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies with their baby. Below are some questions to get you started but please feel free to add other comments too!

Here is what they’ve got to say: "Night-time is a busy time for your baby – and those precious hours of Golden Sleepsleep aren’t just important for their mood, but development, too! With experts believing that wetness may impact your little one’s sleep, their overnight nappy needs to work as hard as possible; introducing New Pampers Baby-Dry with 3 Absorbing Channels! Pampers are launching an upgrade to UK parents’ #1 nappy choice: New Pampers Baby-Dry feature a revolutionary nappy design with 3 Absorbing Channels, that distribute wetness more evenly, and Micro Pearls™ that lock it away. For up to 12 hours of Golden Sleep and less wet bulk in the morning! Pampers Baby-Dry have also been proven to be up to 2x drier than ordinary nappies; so, with babies waking up as dry in the morning as the night before you’ll be left asking 'where did the pee go?'"

  1. Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

12 weeks old. size 3
  1. What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

positive. We will keep on using them. Baby slept in the nappy from 9pm till 6am (about) with 2/3 feeds in the night
  1. Would you recommend New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

I would for babies that sleep through the night or that can be fed and put back to bed without really waking up.
  1. New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

I'm not sure it was massively less bulky. Definitely less so round the back compared to others but the front was huge! I do have a boy baby though Grin ^I think this nappy has proved much more comfortable for him to wear for longer meaning much better sleep.
  1. Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

I will. The nappies have never leaked so far and are nearly always on promo offer.
  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

I would. The nappies have been very reliable and my baby hasn't had any rash or soreness. Pampers are a trusted brand which a lot of new parents will go to.

Seemed same as others I've used before.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

I usually use asda little angels but find they leak overnight. Whilst pampers baby dry were full they didn't leak overnight saving time in morning changing bed sheets!!!!

Yes

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
The nappies were still full in morning but DEFINATELY not front loaded like the other brand I use.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes but probably for just night time. During the day we change more often so would use a cheaper nappy.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Yes DEFINATELY for night time use.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Very thin and soft, a good comfortable fit, great at keeping a baby dry all night.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes, they contain a lot of liquid and stop leaks overnight. They also seem to be made of a softer material than other nappies and don't bulk up massively when wet.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
Yes, we've tried most other brands and have found Pampers to be the best at staying dry all night

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes, the liquid is still held very much at the front, but seemed to have spread out more than the old nappies we used.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
Yes. Having tried many other brands there doesn't seem to be a better nappy on the market for staying dry and fitting nicely. They are very soft, thin and flexible compared to other nappies that feel bulky or tough before putting on. They are at the top of the price range for nappies, but I genuinely believe it's worth it if you get less leaks and baby is more comfortable

Yes it's the best I've tried.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
Yes

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Possibly - we are on a tight budget and while I like the product, they aren't essential versus cheaper bulkier alternatives.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

Size 4 age 1. Less sag than there nappies and ultra slim design. Would recommend for overnight as kept dry but no sagginess. No chemical smell which I had previously found with pampers. I would buy when on special offer and would recommend to friends as they are so slim, light and comfortable.

  1. Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

18 months, size 5.

  1. What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Not good, they leaked and seemed very small.

  1. Would you recommend New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

No, they leaked nearly every night and needed changing immediately on waking.

  1. New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

No, quite the opposite. He leaked most nights we put him in them (my dh actually started refusing to put him in them for bed!), and one afternoon also leaked through (which I have never known to have happened before). I do think they come up a very small size which may have contributed but my son is not particularly large for his age and is normally in this size.

  1. Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

No. Which I'm surprised about considering the hype around Pampers.

  1. If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

No. Small in size, leaked a lot, seemed to cause a bit of nappy rash as unable to wick away most of the wee. Only positive is they are softer than supermarket brands.

Nice and light feeling. Thinner material than other nighttime nappies. Neutral colour. Did the job to keep my little girl dry.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Yes I would recommend my little one had 12 hours and no leaks.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? I have tried another brand which does the same thing as well however on a branding front I would say they are the best.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
I did notice however on occasion if I put it on differently it didn't seem to be as even but that may be Mum's fastening.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
Impressive, no leaks at all. Thin nappy, not bulky when in bag.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
Definitely, been using for over a week and so far no leaks. Ds is a very active sleeper, constantly lifting his legs and wriggling, nappys held up really well

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
In comparison to others I have used the pampers definitely seem to be the best so far

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
The front of the nappy was still quite bulky after wearing for 11 hours - 8pm to 7am. Not as bulky as other brands I have used but still quite big.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
Yes definitely

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.
-My son is 2 and we received size 5 nappies.
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They were decent enough nappies. Fitted well and were comfortable on my son. I usually use Aldi nappies though and i wouldn't change to pampers. Aldi nappies are just as good and much better value for money.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
No, I have tried a few different brands of nappies and i would not particular say these nappies were much better than any other brand of nappy i have used.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?
-I would not say the best, but they are pretty good.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?
-yes
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?
-It depends, Pampers i find in general are the most expensive brand and I do not find they are so much better that other brands to justify the extra cost. Having said that, i did like the nappies. If they were a decent price then yes I would buy them again.
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

  • Yes but again I would also recommend other brands of nappies as well.

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received.

My daughter is 18 weeks and size 3 nappies.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

The nappies were soft and comfortable against her skin. They held her wees well at night, she is a tummy sleeper and I didn't know change her nappy all night even though she fed twice every night.
The only issue I had is they seemed smaller in sizing than other pampers nappies and other brands, also the yellow dots are placed in the wrong place and looked like she had had a leak when it was just a design on the nappy. As the nappies were shorter than usual when she had an explosive poo it came out the top easily.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

Yes I would recommend them because my daughter stated dry through the night even though she feeds in the night and sleeps on her tummy. We didn't have any leaks and she didn't develop a rash even though she had been in the same nappy all night (13 hours).

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

I think it is as good as other brands so would not say the beat. But would recommend for tummy sleeper if you don't change nappies as night.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

Yes I definitely noticed there wasn't a bulge in the nappy, as a tummy sleeper it means she didn't feel uncomfortable as the nappy filled so slept longer.

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

If they were on offer I would buy them, I tend to find they are expensive so only purchase when on offer or I have a discount voucher.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

For the reasons above of the fact she was leak free at night a s they felt soft to touch and skin I would recommend them. But due to sizing I would also suggest going up a size.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies? Very thin - nice and soft and attractive design. Seemed small - and were pretty neat on my very slim girl.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? Yes - seemed to be nice and dry in the morning after sleeping 7-6. Also nappy didn't seem heavy or bulky.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? Yes.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? Yes didn't seem saggy or heavy. This meant no leaks for us. I find getting nappies on my wriggly baby tricky at the mo, so some other brands have leaked due to heaviness and a badly put on nappy!
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? Yes (if on offer!)
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Maybe - they are good for overnight but at the moment I'm using supermarket own brand (Asda) and having no problems. Would recommend to someone who maybe mentioned a leaking problem. I wouldn't recommend to someone with a chubby baby - as I'm not sure they would fit!!

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?

Nice designs, much less bulky both before and after use.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?

Yes, my son drinks water through the night and has started to wake up wet with other nappies. This didn't happen with the pampers.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

Of the nappies I've tried, I would.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

Definitely. Other nappies would be hanging round my son's knees by morning!

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

I would, just for night time as they are significantlying more expensive than the supermarket ones.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?

23 weeks size 3.

2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
They were thinner than my usual nappies and the inside felt softer to the touch!

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?
I would but no more than my usual nappy (which is a supermarket own brand) I didn't really notice much difference if I'm honest.

4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep?

No not really, they were the same as my usual nappy.

5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one?

They seemed as bulky as my usual nappy (I alternated for four nights to compare the difference and I couldn't see any).

6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again?

If they were on a special offer.

7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not?
I would suggest them but not recommend exclusively as I feel that the supermarket own ones we use do as good a job for a fraction of the price.

3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why?: Maybe - not noticeably dryer in the morning but no leaks either
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? Not significantly over other brands
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? No, but she's a front sleeper so it tends to pool
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? If competitively priced
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? No - the smell

1 Please state the age of your baby/child and the size of nappy you received. 18 months / size 5
2 What was your overall impression of New Pampers Baby-Dry nappies?
A good all round nappy that can be used at night as well as daytime.
3 Would you recommend new Pampers Baby-Dry for a dry night’s sleep? If so, why? Yes, we wake up to very heavy nappies and occasional leaks, we had no leaks whilst trying out these nappies.
4 Would you say new Pampers Baby-Dry is the best for a dry night’s sleep? It is only one of 2 bands of nappies that I've found to contain night time leaks so definitely one of the best.
5 New Pampers Baby-Dry feature 3 Absorbing Channels, which distribute wetness more evenly, for less wet bulk in the morning. Did you notice this benefit with your little one? Yes, these nappies seemed a lot more lightweight and less bulky than other nappies we have tried.
6 Would you buy New Pampers Baby-Dry again? Maybe if they were on offer or part of a deal
7 If it came up in conversation, would you recommend Pampers Baby-Dry nappies to other parents? If so, why? If not, why not? Yes, I would recommend them, particularly for travel / holidays as they seem to be much less bulky and can be used day and night so no need to 2 different types / sizes.
