Has anyone used Allbrite cleaning services? And are they ok?

I've just spoken to them about a one off clean, suddenly feeling weird about having someone I don't know in my house though so looking for recommendations.

Never heard of them sorry - what area of Oxfordshire are you looking in, I know a few cleaners, actually come to think of it I have a friend who knows one of the bigger agencies, I could ask him for their details. I know they properly check out their staff.

Will do whomovedmychocolate! Thanks, I am in east Oxford. They have given me the cheapest quote so far but I'd rather pay £1o more if it'd mean a better job. The other one was Daily poppins.

Ah now I have heard things about Daily Poppins - not good things either. Regarding nicking off early mostly.

Have emailed my friend to get details for you!

Thanks! And good to know about daily poppins especially as they were more expensive.

Remind me what you need doing, it's for your dad isn't it?

No its for me, I just want a spring clean done, small two bed flat. I was happy enough with the price the first company gave me (allbrite) then panicked about it as I've never used a cleaning service before.

Arggh sorry I totally forgot. Allbrite are apparently 'fine' according to my friend who used them. BTW I just put an ad on gumtree oxford and got six cleaners pitching for cleaning my house within 24 hours!

I'm interviewing some of them tomorrow - for an intensive clean and then six hours a week.
