Hi hope youre well
I know youre a clever lady ebay wise
I hope you dont mind me picking your brain....

I am stuck on something.
I used to use photobucket and the self hosting option to put up 6 photos or so of an item but now using self hosting and photobucket I can only seem to put up one self hosted photobucket photo - is this a new rule?
or is there something I am missing?
Thanks - as one photo is not enough I find

I dont want to have to pay for the extra photos ideally....

Thanks!

Mornin'

I use Turbo Lister but I'm sure you can do the same thing by listing the other way. - If you switch the the html editor you can insert the code from photobucket direct into the html. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't allow you to insert as many pics as you want.

hope this helps - give me a shout if it doesn't.

I use auctiva to do this - very easy.

The problem with auctiva is that bloomin annoying moving row of photos it shows on the listing. If I ever land on an auctiva listing I click the back button quicker than a quick thing

You can remove that, but I quite like it

I use a template. Bought it for £2 off Ebay & then I can post as many photos as I want without paying extra

hi all

thanks for info!

Hi sixlostmonkeys it only lets me insert one photo using html photobucket, there used to be an option to insert 6 - its only since ebay all seemed to change settings

fourarms re auctiva I wish I could be shown a tutorial on this as I am not good at sussing out new things How exactly does it work? I did sign up once but never really understood it

and mrsmagoo ooh the template sounds interesting and nice and cheap
can you link me an example and what a listing would look like with one. Hope thats not cheeky

put the code direct into the html coding, you can do as many as you want.

Are you trying to do it via some ebay option? If so, then just copy the html for each photo from photobucket and paste direct into the coding.

If you can't access the html when you list (its a long time since i listed that way) you can access it by editing your post - or use turbo lister where there is simply a tab to switch from preview to html etc

hi love its the bit where it says on ebay add a pic i choose self hosting and paste in the html code (I have these to hand on my photobucket) then press upload but it only lets me do this once you used to be able to upload 6 in one go.

If i try again it replaces the one i have already uploaded

any idea how i can get round this as never got on with turbolister (bit frightened of it in truth!!!!!!!!!!!)

this is one of my listings
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=350105197509&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

You can see I have added 3 photos in the item description.

Go to one of your listings which you want to add photos to and click 'revise'

Where you see 'describe the item you're selling' (a yellow strip) you will see you have two tabs. One called standard and the other html.
Make a note to self where you want the photos to be placed eg note the last word of the sentence that will go above the photo.

Click on the html tab. Look through the coding and you will find the words you noted from the standard view.
then paste the copied html coding from photobucket here. leave a space and the paste the next lot of html coding from photobucket etc etc.

my html looks like this

The book is good clean and tight. It has some creases to the cover and marks where it appears someone has used it to rest on when writing a letter.

Any questions about this item? Please ask prior to bidding.

You can see the words that come before and after the photos in my listing and the photobucket html coding in between.
