I really need to join! I went great guns starting last January (2018). Did really well then lost it in March. Joining for support and inspiration.

Morning everyone, thanks jam

It's fine but very windy here today. I want to skip out the big greenhouse, and start off some seeds.
Plus lots and lots of painting.

Dd2 wants a trip out to Hobbycraft, that place is turning into my second home. Older, crafty kids with money to burn!
Could be worse I suppose, they could be buying fags and cider.

Hey faith do hop on. We ramble a bit, but at the core we are trying to spend and save what we have wisely.

Thanks for new thread @Justanothermile.
DH has taken DC to PIL so I'm having a quick drink and then getting stuck into an hour or two of tidying and sorting (have had decorators in so it's badly needed).

Thanks jam, just tried posting on the old thread. Thought it was quiet.

This is going to be a looooog journey. Not even on the train and 2 people are pissing me off

Welcome faith

Going to have a quiet day here, weather isn't great but not as bad as forecast. Need some painkillers as have a bad headache so might nip out to Sainsbury's as that's the closest chemist I think.

Watched 3 episodes of stranger things last night, I have no clue what's going on but it's good!!

Not a frugal weekend too much travelling

I'm going on a shopping trip with my mum at the weekend. We do this annually and I over spend. So. I've been through my product hoard, need nothing, been through my tops and bottoms, pjs, pants, socks, bras. I need nothing. I'm allowing a couple/few tunics, ankle boots, shoes.

And thanks life for the well done. Feeling positive but nervous :o

Welcome faith!

We’ve ventured into the expensive world of sensory aids for the Caglets, especially DS. First up, as it was very cheap, a giant band that goes on chair legs. Note the blurry feet, because he’s fidgeting! He loves it!

I've made more bread. I think it's got a crusty crust Hmm (you know what I mean!) this time. Dd kept asking me to make more.

Dinner is going to be butternut squash curry most likely made into soup for the dc.

That's a good idea cag

Oooh crusty crust.

DH has been doing lots of baking today for a community work thing. Ingredients/accessories covered on expenses and we get to keep the stuff, frugal win! They’ve made chocolate avocado cookies and chocolate beetroot cake. Both nice! Hopefully this will be good inspiration to actually carry on baking now as we’ve really not done any for years.

Hi duds well done on being prepared for your shopping trip. I am the opposite at the moment as I’ve not bought myself clothes generally for a long time. My mum is dragging me to the shops next week. I don’t think I even own any non holey undies and I have one pair of jeans that fits well. I’m a mess 😳

I remember you being a natural tutor cag. You've so got this.
Nice one on the baked goods.

Another hour and half to go. Bored but no train spends as brought snacks

Aww thanks life ❤️💐 I definitely did feel that was the case in the past and I enjoyed it so much but I feel like my brain has no space for that stuff since having Rowan tbh. It’s like I’ve totally changed. 😳 Hopefully once I get started I’ll be ok though. I need to be, we don’t have much other income now!

I'm trying to get going on my next assignment. Due in two weeks. Why do I leave it such last minute, every time 😬 I am determined to keep up better with my next one like the organised smug members of my class
