Me and my DH are TTC but he finds it very difficult to get any sexual feeling in his penis. he says he has always had it and can't pin point whether it is a physical or psychological thing. Sometimes it is fine but often we just have to give up (usually just when i'm oving) ... i really don't know what to do ...has anyone else had this... does anyone know of any thing he can take like herbal remedies or creams that may increase sensitivity... what about pills that increase libido??

i think he ought to go and discuss it with his GP to be honest. I wouldn't go down the rout of herbal potions

I agree, it could an indicator of something else going on that's treatable. I'd nag him to go to GP to get a diagnosis.

Is he circumcised? And if so, who did it and when? Was it a surgeon, or was it done as part of a religious rite as a newborn baby?

Hello,
If it happens more often when you are O'ing - could it be psycological? I.e he feels under pressure to perform and then can't.

My acupuncturist recommended maca for my pcos and it is basically a root that has lots of vitamins and minerals. However, it is also given to men to improve sperm count and mobility, raise their libido and to give them more energy. It did raise my libido and now I think I am going to give it to the DH as now I want it more than him which is unusual Blush.

thanks for the replies ...

Nelson - no not circumcised but i hear that can cause problems

LIG i think it is partly psychological but might look into maca as it has always been an issue even when we were n't ttc

ah well... will get there in the end
