Good luck with catching the egg zam. I tend not to hatch till cd 23-25 but got overexcited this month and started swi on cd9. Silly really. Hope enthusiasm doesn't run out, am only cd16 and already impatient that I haven't ovulated yet.

Stretches out glass to jolls for a refill - shakes pom poms for Digi and her shag fest and hands Zam a four leaf clover to help in creating a lucky thread! Random SWI over here - not completely sure whether we should really be trying as I need to do a mammogram and a fine needle aspiration for thyroid this month so most probably best not to be upduffed - but just can't bring myself to not try at all Confused I also bought new bras so guaranteed it will be this month!! I have been wearing size B cup all my boob'ed life but went to Bravissimo today and found out I am a DD Grin Somehow feel rather different about myself!! I should have guessed that some of the lard I have put on since my skinny 20s has gone somewhere other than my rear!

What fab weather - I hope you are enjoying yourselves! Waves madly at battery and anyone else who is about!

A question:
CD21 here, had scan to check for fibroids/PCOS/scarring etc on Weds (all clear - hurrah!) and saw nice big egg ready to pop, gynae said I would ovulate that day or the following one.
Have been having EWCM & SWI since CD15, but no temp rise yet. And yesterday no CM. So what's happened to my egg? Have I ov but without temp rise? Or are my temps too all over the place to tell (normal post-ov temps are at least 36.6 - nothing higher than 36.3 so far this time)Or no ov this cycle? (in which case what's happened to the lovely mature egg?) Or can it be delayed by something or other and still come later?
My chart is here, not that it sheds much light on the situation....Confused
Hope everyone is having a good Sunday xx

zam perhaps it'll happen today? No idea why you haven't ovulated yet, although I remember it took wiggle a few days for her to get her temp rise after being told of imminent egg-poppage. Perhaps it's still growing. Or perhaps it's not worked and another one is ripening up to take it's place. Do you normally have long cycles?

I'm in the complete opposite situation: last cycle was told that my dominant follicle was far too small to suggest ovulation would happen soon - I ovulated two days later (at cd42 of my WTF cycle). This cycle I've not had a scan but have had negative opk's all week, only to get a big temp rise this morning. Wont be convinced I've actually ovulated till I've had three of these high temps in a row, but will be very surprised if I have. No cramps yesterday. It's also rather early for me (cd17 today) but perhaps the metformin has actually achieved the miracle of shortening my cycles. Am supposed to start taking prednisolone from ovulation - but don't won't to till I'm absolutely sure as I've heard it can delay ovulation which is not what I want to do.

Dur - don't want to.

My chart here in case anyone knows how to interpret such things.

knitter is AF coming a good thing this month?

aandr I had a very similar revelation last year at Rigby & Peller. I tried on one of my old bras the other day and couldn't believe how ill-fitting it was!

Hello everyone! I haven't posted for ages have I?! Lovely new thread zam! I'll put out some brownies for you all, freshly made yesterday.

Sorry zam I haven't got to grips with charting, I haven't ever tried because I think I'd end up obsessed and I don't think it's compatible with night shifts! I would say that the scan is the most reliable indicator though. I find on ov day that I have less cm than the previous few days though.

AandR I've tried the whole buying new bras/jeans/mooncup to tempt sods law so I'll get pg and it's never worked for me...hope you have more luck!

Yay for af knitter! Are you going to get back on the bus next month?

digi fx the metformin is doing it's job!

I'm chilling out this month. I haven't been obsessively peeing on opks or even counting days, just dtd every other day and trying not to think about it. Saying that, I think if it doesn't happen this month I'm off to ask for bloods.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend x

Hi ladies, just popping in to say hello. I'm probably about a week away from AF and am feeling rather grumpy!

A friend texted me yesterday to tell me she's pg with a surprise 4th! I was v calm and didn't feel Envy at all so rewarded myself with a nice glass of wine Smile

Morning... Yes AF is good news this month. Means that the systems have reset themselves after the Termination and also that no damage has been done by my rampant alcohol, soft cheese and pate consumption over the last month :-)

Yep - on the conception bus now

owl... yes 'tis curious that all the naughty stuff is french isn't it....

I'm also going back to slimming world tomorrow - stopped going when it freaked me out that I was pregnant but losing weight.... Not looking forward to finding out the impact of pate/brie/wine.... But as I suspect I'm just in the obese category a bit of weight loss can only help on the conception side of things...

also i've just updated the stats for today and moved me into the TTC section... over on the stats fred - hope I did it right :-)

Just marking my place - lovely new thread, zam Smile

aandr v Envy of the bravissimo experience; I would love to find out I was a surprise DD cup but sadly even with pg boobs I don't seem to venture much beyond a B, C at most

Good news on getting some testing (although it does sound rather uncomfortable?) I reckon you might as well swi anyway

knitter yay for af (that is the first and last time I will say that to you!) and good luck with slimming world. Fwiw I seem to conceive when I've lost weight (and it only tends to be half a stone/a stone that's crept on) so I think for some people like me it does make quite a difference. I remember you did really well on it last time, so fx you don't find it too hard to stick to.

mummya are you around or just tremendously busy? Hope everything's going ok x

Tis very quiet here at the moment, but perhaps because everyone is rather shell shocked by Dach's tragic news on the other thread. I know I am.

Knitter woo hoo to AF, it's not often I say that Grin

AandR am a bit Shock at your oncology testing - sounds serious. Is it? I don't mean that in a stupid way (although it probably sounds it) but you seem fairly matter of fact about it so perhaps you are not concerned. Hope it's just formalities. I think I'd probably say wait until the testing is over to ttc but I don't know on the timing

I hope you yrmotb wiggle bbb and battery aren't suffering too much...I am still pretty tired but better than I was and not feeling anywhere near as sick in the evenings. Fx this is for all the right reasons! A quick fix on the Doppler every few days is helping to keep the mentalling manageable but I will be pleased to get the next three weeks out of the way!

Hey... hope everyone is ok - agree it has gone very quiet over here...

Just had a phone call from the Repeat Miscarriage people at St Georges and I've got my first appointment for the 9th of June. At this stage it's just me that goes alone apparently - does that sound right? I'd've thought that they'd want to see DH too but maybe that comes later....

AF seems to be petering out....

Report
digitalgirl · 24/05/2011 17:03

knitter good luck with that appointment, not too far away. Did they specifically say not to bring your DH? DH has rarely been needed at any appointments I've gone to other than for moral support and to confirm that he has no medical issues. I've dragged him along anyway. I've still not heard from St Mary's, am so glad I never bothered to wait for that one and just forged ahead with seeing Mr S privately.

It's been nearly 11 weeks since my ERPC and I've still not heard back on the karyotyping results of the baby. Don't really want to chase - can't see what's to be gained from knowing whether there was a genetic problem or not now that I know I have high nk cells - but I think I will if I've not heard by the end of the week.

Not much else to report here. Still waiting on an egg, temp spike the other day was a false alarm. SWIlympics continuing valiantly, steroid tablets sitting unpopped in my drawer...

Hi ladies. Nothing really happening here. Just waiting for AF to arrive which is so boring when you're not symptom spotting Grin

Doing three days at work from tomorrow but then it's half term again and only 7 weeks until the summer hols then maybe we'll be pg again!!

Good luck on egg watch digi I hope it's sooner rather than later.

Good luck with the appointment knitter I hope they help you find some answers.

Hello ladies. Just a quick post to say I have not dropped off the face off the earth. I am reading, just hard to find the energy to post anything!

Not much happening here, the injections are going ok, I still have symptoms, and have a scan on friday which will be 9 weeks. Am trying not to think about it too much, and I hope the sonographer tells me yes or no straight away. The epau is great and it has the tv screen opposite you too so the good thing is you can see. The downside of that is that....you can see........I am worried that i will look at the screen and see a motionless bean.

Anyway, I am actually quite positive, I am doing everything I can to look after the bean.

Big waves to all those waiting for an eggy, any in 2ww (have we any?) all those waiting for appointments, and all of those that are just lurking for now xxx

Hiiiiiiiiiiii

It's me! I'm still alive, have made it through the jet-lag and out the other side. Am now starting the hunt for a house to rent - it's a bit fierce here for good rentals and we missed out on one a couple of days ago which was v disappointing. Will be looking at several tomorrow, while DS plays with his cousin .

I think I may have ovulated finally, another cycle that seems to have been a bit delayed - EWCM showed up at the right time but no temp rise til today. Quite annoyed about that as DH and I are in different cities at the moment, but by coincidence we were together at the time I would normally have ovulated...and did as much SWI as we could..but did my body cooperate by hatching an egg? No, it did not. So I have to rely on the possibility that DH's swimmers might survive for a few days to have any hope at all this cycle. Meh, there's so much going on I'm finding it difficult to care much.

Terrible news for Dachs, v v sad. I saw that something had happened when I came on yesterday and didn't want to post until I'd read the history and said something to her. Awful.

So, wish me luck for tomorrow's viewings....

Hello lovely ladies
I too have finally ovulated so am officially in the land of 2ww mentalling & brazil nut scoffing :)
Just shell shocked by Dachs' news. Nothing to say :(
In other news, the DS's have finally gone back to preschool after FIVE weeks off so life has returned to normal and they are much happier, as am I Grin
ladybee it's like that with houses here too - but you will find the right one and snap it up. If it feels right take it, don't wait - we learned that the hard way but have ended up somewhere so much better now. When does your shipment come?
