It worked for Mr Costello.

SaintRiven Thu 09-Oct-08 17:26:08

a lifetime of heartache with that one!

acoady Thu 09-Oct-08 17:28:52

I think it would only work if you then chose something like "Clint" as a middle name!!

grin

Betti Thu 09-Oct-08 17:30:02

Really like it Choc. One to add to my list. How about Elvi for a girl?

ChocOrange05 Thu 09-Oct-08 17:41:23

I think Elvis is just as nice for a girl, no need to remove the "s"! smile

LesAnimaux Thu 09-Oct-08 17:51:41

I think Yay.

You would have to be a cool family though to carry it off.

Anna8888 Thu 09-Oct-08 17:56:20

No NO NO.

There are two Elvises at my DD's school - Elvis Polanski (son of Roman) and Tim-Elvis Guetta (known as Elvis) who is the son of David and Cathy Guetta of Parisian nightclub fame.

Are you that kind of parent?????????

Blandmum Thu 09-Oct-08 17:56:56

ImFabioandsosmyWife Thu 09-Oct-08 17:59:19

OneLieIn Thu 09-Oct-08 18:01:15

OMG, why is it only weird names come on here asking for opinions? It is nothing short of awful.

Lizzzombie Thu 09-Oct-08 18:02:25

He may well change it as soon as he is old enough.
One of DP's mates was christend Elton. As soon as he was able he changed it to Mike!

MrsMattie Thu 09-Oct-08 18:03:00

I know a baby Elvis. It's...not to my taste.

JuneBugJen Thu 09-Oct-08 18:04:02

It will only be able to be pulled off if he is going to be super confident and/or good looking.

Are you willing to take that risk? Look at your bank manager or builder, would they hold their own with a name like Elvis? because that could be what your ds looks like one day.

Miyazaki Thu 09-Oct-08 18:04:33

I like it, in theory.

LesAnimaux Thu 09-Oct-08 18:24:07

Anna888 the plural of Elvis is Elvi grin

domesticslattern Thu 09-Oct-08 18:32:53

Pingpong Fri 10-Oct-08 00:26:12
