Nearly used Alexander, Amelia and Matilda as first names. Alexander is actually a middle name for one dc. Glad we didnt use the last two as no doubt they would have morphed into Milly or Tilly and there's too many of those around.

We nearly had Ethan, Charlie or Issac for our ds.

DD we were stuck but went through Hannah, Amelia & Sophia.

Report
funnyhaha · 25/03/2008 12:29

dd was Amelie for about 30 mins post birth. She was going to be Lawrence if a boy.
Ds was always his name - we never came up with any real alternative - male or female!

barnstaple · 25/03/2008 12:32

dd was Cynthia until she was born when it was clear that she wasn't - took us weeks to find a replacement

For Ds...Daniel, Damian, Gray,

For Dd...Rani, Gabrielle, Gabriells, Miriam, Hannah, Grace, Lydia, Gaia.

Dd remained nameless for 3 weeks after she was born, but finally ended up with a pretty name not as above, though we used two of these for middle names.

In my defence, it was only me making the choice for my son, but there were two of us choosing for Dd.

Son was so much easier, he had his name well in advance of his arrival!
